Duang with You, starring TeeTee Wanpichit and Por Suppakarn as Duang and Qin respectively, premiered its first episode with overflowing chemistry.
In Duang with You, which aired on January 31 via iQIYI, Duang fell for Qin and tried his best to get to know him better. With the help of his friends, he attempted to pursue Qin. However, Qin remained aloof and rarely entertained those who showed interest in him.
Duang, a well-known decorative arts student, harbors a crush on Qin, the aloof star of the Faculty of Music. When Duang finally confesses, the moment falls flat, but he refuses to back down. Though Qin responds with cool acceptance rather than excitement, Duang commits to pursuing him earnestly. Everything shifts when a lecturer pairs them for a stage performance, forcing Qin to see Duang in a new light.

Duang with You Episode 1 Recap: The Freshy Night
Duang with You episode 1 begins with Duang watching Qin sing on stage. He becomes completely starstruck, as if Qin is the only person he can see. Later, Duang plays around with his friends—Jamie (North Chatchapon) and Pae (Wave Thanaphat).
When Duang is about to cross the pedestrian lane, he sees Qin walking in the opposite direction. Still starstruck, Duang follows Qin instead of rejoining his friends. He notices Qin’s friends—Kim (Hugh Phoovitch) and Tong (Thi Thirati)—as well as Qin’s college building.
Soon after, Duang attends class with his friends. Pae asks if they plan to attend Freshy Night, and Jamie says he will go. Meanwhile, Duang tells them about a guy he finds cute and mentions Qin by name. His friends suggest that Qin might appear at Freshy Night, which convinces Duang to attend as well.
On the night of Freshy Night, Duang prepares to leave when he cannot find Qin. Suddenly, a voice from the stage calls his name. Duang immediately pushes through the crowd and moves to the front, where he sees Qin holding a microphone and singing beautifully.
Duang watches him and comments on how cute he is. However, he soon realizes that he is not the only one interested in Qin. Jamie and Pae tease him, asking if he still plans to pursue Qin despite the competition.
Duang and His Friends Get Information About Qin
Later that night, Duang follows Qin on Instagram and even adds him to his favorites. He accidentally likes Qin’s very first Instagram post. The next morning, Duang and his friends wait for Qin on campus.
Jamie offers to help Duang and suggests that he should gather information about Qin first. Pae and Jamie attempt to help, but their efforts turn out to be useless and mostly silly. In the end, Duang takes matters into his own hands. When he walks beside Qin, he discreetly smells his perfume.
Later, Duang and his friends spot Qin eating with his friends at the cafeteria. They sit nearby where they can clearly observe him. Duang carefully watches Qin and writes down details about what he eats and drinks.
Afterward, they head to Qin’s college building. They act suspiciously obvious by singing “do-re-mi” in the hallway, thinking it will make them look normal. When they hear a noise, they panic and think it is a ghost, but another student appears instead, making the situation even funnier.
While searching for Qin’s room, Qin’s friends catch them. Duang claims that they are just looking for the restroom, which only makes their excuse more suspicious. Tong tells them to exit through another room, leaving them even more embarrassed.
Qin’s friends ask him if Duang is the one who has been following him. Qin simply nods.

Qin Asked for Duang’s Help in Duang with You Episode 1
Elsewhere in Duang with You episode 1, Tin (Pepper Phanuroj) follows Qin. Qin notices Duang nearby and approaches him. He asks Duang for help to stop Tin from following him.
Duang acts tough in front of Tin and questions him about his intentions. He tells Tin that he must go through him before talking to Qin. Tin compliments Duang’s looks, prompting Duang to thank him before quickly returning to his tough act.
Later, Duang tells his friends what happened. They tease him when he proudly mentions that Qin spoke to him using four full sentences.
Duang asks his friends how he should confess to Qin. Jamie warns him that many people like Qin and that he may not stand a chance.
Elsewhere, Tong invites Kim and Qin to attend the Loy Krathong Festival.
Duang Confessed to Qin
At the Loy Krathong Festival, Pae disguises himself as a girl named Cherry. He lures Tong away so Duang can have time alone with Qin. The group successfully separates Qin from his friends, giving Duang his chance.
When Tong and Kim disappear, Duang finally approaches Qin. However, his nerves get the best of him. Jamie suddenly rushes over, causing Duang to blurt out that his friend likes Qin while pointing at Jamie.
Moments later, Duang corrects himself, points at his own chest, and introduces himself as “Buddy.” Qin reacts with displeasure, thinking Duang is just another fan trying to approach him. Duang then asks if he can float a krathong with Qin.
He also asks if he can try to win Qin’s heart. Duang begins listing the things he likes about Qin, but he nearly ruins the moment. Qin almost punches him because of the awkward things he says.
Eventually, Duang admits that he likes Qin because of his voice and says that it completely enchanted him. Qin steps closer, causing Duang to lose his balance. Duang with You episode 1 ends with Qin wishing Duang good luck.

Episode 2 Preview and Release Date
Episode 2 of Duang with You teases Duang as he plans his next move toward Qin. His friends warn him about the thin line between pursuing someone and stalking. When they ask why he seems so madly in love with Qin, Duang declares that he will do his best to pursue him.
