Aired on January 22, Dare You to Death episode 5 shows Jade being hospitalized after the ambush, with Kamin expressing his worry through a kiss. They later go to The Wild Hunt to investigate, where Kamin confronts Seon Jae, who challenges him through Jade in an illegal boxing match. Meanwhile, the killer returns to Tonkla, who is crushed to death.

Dare You To Death Episode 5 Recap: Kamin Shows His Worry with a Kiss
After the car incident and attack, Jade was rushed to the hospital with Kamin by his side. While there, Kamin received a text asking if he liked his “welcome gift.” Later, he talked to Jay about Wild Hunt, the place where Jade was attacked during his investigation. Jay said he had been there two or three times—a spot where wealthy high-society types do drugs—but insisted he never took part.
Once Jade was well enough, Kamin went to see him and kissed him, saying it showed he was worried. He told Jade, “When I say I’m worried, I don’t say it to just anyone. And every time I say it, I really mean it.” He also reminded him to take care of himself and not get hurt again.
Later, Kamin spoke with his subordinate about catching Seon Jae, realizing they were closing in. After Jade’s ambush, he knew they had to act fast. The subordinate explained that Wild Hunt isn’t just about drugs—they also run illegal boxing matches where losing fighters end up dead, which Yu from the Special Investigation Unit is investigating. Kamin then remembered Jay mentioning Yu to Jade and asking if they were dating.
Cherreen and Tonkla Expose Time’s Crimes
Tonkla and Cherreen were called in for questioning. Kamin first asked about their relationship, noting Tonkla’s crush on Cherreen. She admitted he had feelings for her but insisted she never led him on, saying she only used his feelings to survive.
Kamin then asked about her connection with Champ, revealing they had been cheating even before Puifai died. Cherreen explained that Champ threatened to kick her out of the group if she didn’t go along with it. Kamin also questioned her about Tonkla’s hit-and-run, which Champ helped cover up.
Cherreen urged Kamin to investigate Time as well, saying, “Tonkla accidentally hitting someone once doesn’t even compare to the things Time does regularly.” Tonkla added that Time secretly records himself having sex and sells the clips, even involving his own friends in the group.

Puifai Was Pregnant?
Jade and Kamin visited Puifai’s house and checked her room. There, Kamin noticed a photo of the Avengers with a dare card in its frame. The card accused her friends of being cruel and said she was suffering alone. It dared her to “try dying” to see their true colors, warning that, whether they chose truth or dare, they would all still have to die.
Next, they spoke with Puifai’s mother, who revealed that Puifai had been pregnant. Kamin remembered that Bell’s truth card mentioned taking a friend to get an abortion, and they now suspected it referred to Puifai.
Later, they asked Jay if he knew about the pregnancy, but he said he didn’t. He added that during freshman orientation, he and Puifai had slept together by accident.
Seon Jae Challenges Kamin Through Jade in Dare You to Death Episode 5
Seon Jae invited Kamin to The Wild Hunt dinner, suspecting that those behind the drug network tied to Tar were also responsible for the illegal drugs found in Puifai’s body. Kamin went along, with Jade accompanying him to investigate who was buying the drugs.
While there, they ran into Lee and Yu from the Special Investigation Unit, who were probing the illegal boxing matches. Lee seemed to have an issue with Jade. Later, Kamin met Seon Jae alone. Seon Jae tried to bribe him to stay silent about The Wild Hunt, but Kamin rejected the offer and warned him that he would arrest him for bribery. Meanwhile, Seon Jae’s men captured Jade without Kamin knowing.
A gun ended up in Kamin’s hands, and he pointed it at Seon Jae, demanding to know who he sold drugs to. Seon Jae challenged him, saying he would only reveal the information if Jade won the illegal boxing match. Kamin countered: if Jade lost, he would resign; but if Jade won, Seon Jae would go to prison.
Confident he would win, Jade talked to Kamin through their earpiece. He added that if he won, Kamin would also have to answer whether he was more than just a subordinate and a house owner.

The Killer Comes After Tonkla
While Tonkla worked in the mechanic shop, the killer confronted him and asked, “Truth or Dare?” again, even though he had chosen Dare before.
Pressed by the car he was fixing, Tonkla chose Truth this time. He asked if money could always buy him. At first, he denied it. Then the killer asked if he had sold Puifai’s clip to Time for money. Tonkla denied it again. But as the car continued pressing down, he finally admitted, “I sold my friend for money.”
The killer kept the pressure until Tonkla was crushed to death.
Dare You To Death Episode 6 Preview and Release Date
Dare You To Death episode 6 teases Jade stepping into the illegal boxing match, where he beats the big guy. Afterward, he reveals that he suspects the culprit is someone on the inside—someone always one step ahead who seems to know their every move.
The episode will be released on January 29, airing on GMM 25 at 8:30 PM (ICT) and streaming on Netflix at 10:30 PM (PHT) / 9:30 PM (ICT).
