Fah confirms that Phoon is the one sending him letters and gifts in Beside the Sky episode 5. Hence, he tries to tempt Phoon into spilling the truth.
Beside the Sky episode 5 aired on January 17 via WeTV and the Studio Wabi Sabi YouTube Channel. This episode centers on Fah confirming that Typhoon is the sender he has been liking for months. His friends also notice how transparent Phoon and his friends are with their plans. Thus, Fah playfully and subtly teases Phoon.

Fah Confirms that Phoon is the Sender in Beside the Sky Episode 5
Beside the Sky episode 5 begins with Fah leaving his gift at the café and receiving his gift from the “sender.” Later, he goes to Hill and tells him what he realized after seeing the “sender’s” letters and Phoon’s letter for the birthday gift.
Hill confirms that the two letters have the same handwriting. After confirming this, Hill asks Fah what he thinks of Phoon. Fah says that before, he only saw Phoon as his little brother, but now things might be different—he likes Phoon.
Soon after, Hill walks over to Ter and Phoon, who are busy talking. The two panic because Phoon’s gift is on their table. Hill acts as if he sees nothing.
At the café, Phoon gives his gift to P’Gib. In return, P’Gib gives him a cocoa drink as Fah instructed. To their surprise, Fah arrives earlier than before, causing them to panic. P’Gib has to think of an excuse, but Fah continues to tease Phoon as he notices the cocoa drink.
Later in Beside the Sky episode 5, Phoon tells Fah that he will take another course—photography. Then Fah remembers that one of the letters he received said the sender had made a big decision.
Another teasing moment occurs when Fah sees Phoon wearing an oversized jacket. He remembers that the sender once sent him a polaroid of himself with his hand in the jacket, saying it was too big. So Fah tells Phoon that he is really small.
Fah Continues to Tease Phoon
Later, Fah goes to his friends, where Phoon is also present. He places Phoon’s gift on the table, teasing him again. Seeing this, Ter and Phoon panic. Johan notices their reactions and behavior.
The group plans to eat together. Fah offers Phoon a ride in his car so they can go together. While on the road, Fah asks Phoon to get the gift and tells him that there is a letter inside.
Fah asks Phoon to read it aloud. Phoon, knowing he wrote it, panics, but he still reads the letter, leaving both of them smiling.
When they arrive, Phoon notices that the place is different. Fah tells him that he will like it more. While eating, Fah sees another chance to tease Phoon. Like a cute cat, Phoon is easily tricked.
Fah asks him if he thinks the sender will only like him. Phoon, nervous, says yes. Fah then asks how he knows, teasing him. He asks again if Phoon thinks the sender loves him. Phoon answers yes again. Fah ends up laughing at all the teasing.

Phoon Worries About Fah Knowing About Fun
In Beside the Sky episode 5, Phoon expresses to his friends that he is worried about Fah discovering the truth. He lied about Fun before and now has been sending gifts anonymously.
He fears that Fah will no longer like him if he learns the truth. His friends assure him that Fah is not like that—they say Fah will understand him.
Phoon also tells them about changing his course. They tell him they are proud of him for finally choosing himself. Additionally, Phoon’s friends tell him not to worry about his father anymore and assure him that they will always have his back.
The Kiss Between Fah and Phoon in Beside the Sky Episode 5
Fah sends a letter to Phoon, asking him to meet. Reading Fah’s letter panics Phoon slightly, so he asks his friends for help. Ter and Daotok try to disguise Phoon, but North says the disguise will not work.
On the day of their meet-up, Phoon is joined by North. He wears a black jacket, a cap, sunglasses, and a mask. They also decide he should refrain from talking, so he brings a pen and paper instead.
When Phoon arrives, Fah is already there. They stand before a breathtaking view, feeling each other’s presence. Fah begins to speak, complimenting Phoon and assuring him that he will wait until he is ready. Fah also kisses Phoon’s hands.
After his heartfelt message, Fah notices that Phoon is crying. He tells Phoon that he will close his eyes as he wipes away the tears. Phoon removes his cap, sunglasses, and mask.
Fah continues to wipe Phoon’s tears while keeping his eyes closed. Feeling Phoon’s face, he ends up touching Phoon’s lips with his thumb. Fah leans in and gently kisses him. However, Phoon breaks the kiss and walks away.

Beside the Sky Episode 6 Preview and Release Date
Episode 6 teases North trying to tease Phoon about his first meeting with Fah. Fah also continues to tease Phoon, knowing he is the anonymous sender. Fah volunteers to tutor Phoon in the next episode. Their second meeting will also happen, ending the teaser with a cliffhanger of Fah telling Phoon why he likes him.
