He admits that among all his admirers, the “sender” caught his attention the most. Fah may have realized something after receiving a birthday gift from Phoon.

Fah and the Letter “Sender” in Beside the Sky Episode 4
Beside the Sky episode 4 opens with Fah receiving another gift from Phoon, the secret “sender.” After receiving the gift, Fah cannot help but smile, which sparks his friends’ curiosity. They ask him if he already likes the sender.
Fah says that it is not to the point of liking them yet—it just feels different this time. Elsewhere, Phoon is with Ter and Foam when he receives Fah’s return gift as the secret “sender.”
Phoon giggles when he receives the gift. Ter tells him that Fah might be starting to like what he is doing, which is why Fah responds by giving gifts in return.
Phoon’s friends encourage him to tell Fah that he is the one sending the gifts. They urge him to confess his true feelings. However, Phoon admits that he is afraid of losing Fah if things do not go their way.
North Told Phoon to Follow His Feelings
Phoon calls North to tell him about the new gift Fah gave him in response to his anonymous presents. North sees how happy and giggly Phoon is and starts teasing him. Phoon asks if Fah is flirting with him or if he is just imagining things. North assures him that Fah is definitely flirting back.
Still, Phoon worries about telling Fah the truth and revealing himself. North tells him to step out of his safe zone. After all, Fah liked him first, so Phoon needs to do something.
On top of that, Phoon worries about his father. Since his father does not want him to associate with Fah, Phoon feels that he cannot reveal himself. North asks if Phoon plans to disappear from Fah’s life as if nothing happened, saying that it would be cruel.
North adds that Phoon already disappeared once, and doing it again would hurt even more. He advises Phoon to stop overthinking and try following his feelings. After all, it is his life.
Fah Doesn’t Want to Disappoint Anyone
Arthit stays in Fah’s room after getting too drunk. In the morning, Arthit borrows some clothes from Fah, which leads to a serious conversation. Arthit asks Fah why he always reads so much and whether he feels tired.
Fah answers yes, and Arthit responds by saying that being Tonfah is exhausting. Arthit asks if Fah still pressures himself too much.
I just don’t want to disappoint anyone. My dad wants me to be the sky that stands higher than everyone else. My mom wanted me to be like a tree others could lean on. So I became Tonfah.
Fah shares that because his family is kind and warm, he cannot help but care for others as well. Arthit asks if he can stop caring just once. Fah answers that he has already tried, but he always ends up living with expectations. Oftentimes, he forgets who he wants to be.
Before leaving, Arthit tells Fah that as long as he is happy, that is enough. He reminds Fah that he can always take a break when he needs to.

Phoon’s Birthday Gift to Fah in Beside the Sky Episode 4
Fah’s birthday arrives, and his friends give him gifts, including Phoon. They gather at a café when it suddenly starts to rain and the electricity goes out. Phoon is in the restroom when it happens, which causes him to panic due to his childhood trauma.
Fah worries about him and immediately walks toward the restroom. He hears Phoon calling for help and tries to open the door. When the door opens, Phoon hugs Fah and apologizes. He repeatedly tells Fah not to be mad at him, while Fah calmly asks him to settle down as he continues to panic.
Elsewhere in Beside the Sky episode 4, Fah reads Phoon’s birthday greeting and realizes something. The handwriting looks familiar. He then sees the “sender’s” photo with a letter attached.
Fah compares the handwriting and realizes that they match. Beside the Sky episode 4 ends with Fah smiling as he finally connects the dots.
Episode 5 Preview and Release Date
Episode 5 teases Fah telling his friends that he used to see Phoon as his younger brother. Over time, however, he stopped seeing Phoon as just the kid next door. Ter asks Phoon if he will tell Fah what really happened to Fun. Phoon finally reveals himself to Fah—but Fah closes his eyes. The two end up kissing in the next episode.
