Jazz for Two OST Album Tracklist

The OST album features six tracks in total: “Improvisation,” “이대로 (STAY WITH ME),” “홀로(Alone),” “NEW LIGHT,” “Please Miles,” and “Proust.” These songs combine to create a unique OST album that makes listeners experience the story of each of the four students in this series.

Hangyeom co-wrote and co-composed three of the songs: “이대로 (STAY WITH ME),” “홀로 (Alone),” and “NEW LIGHT.” Also, OMEGA X bandmate Jaehan contributed to the composition and lyric writing of “Improvisation” and “이대로 (STAY WITH ME).”

The album’s opening track, “Improvisation,” is a pop song that compares the process of two individuals who met unexpectedly and came together as a “jazz improvisation.” The second single, “이대로 (STAY WITH ME),” features the voices of OMEGA X members Jaehan, Hwichan, Hangyeom, and Xen. It is a mellow rock song that makes listeners feel emotional.

The third track, “(Alone),” features a ballad by A.C.E member Donghun Lee. The song expresses the discomfort of being alone. With vocals by Hangyeom, who portrayed Suh Do-Yoon, “NEW LIGHT” aims to inspire sentiments of excitement and love.

“Please Miles” is an instrumental track that plays during the drama scene where Tae-yi, Se-heon, and Do-yoon are assigned to a group project. Composer Kang Min-kook, the music director of Jazz for Two, took inspiration for “Please Miles” from Miles Davis’ “So What.” Lastly, Hogeun Jee, who portrayed Han Tae-yi in Jazz for Two, sings “Proust,” which brings the album to a close.

“The Proust Effect” describes a situation in which scents arouse old memories. The final episode’s closing performance featured an arranged rendition of the B101 song “Proust,” which symbolized the moment when the four main characters united into one.
