The ABO Desire actors did a good job portraying the story; it’s as if the characters stepped out of the novel. The Chinese Boys’ Love series ABO Desire recently filled viewers with emotions and satisfaction that no other series could.

To give you an idea about the plot, here’s a brief synopsis: Everyone in the nation has developed sub-genders due to a mysterious virus that has affected their pheromonal attraction and reproductive organs. Rare outliers do exist, but most people fit into one of the alpha, beta, or omega categories. Though he thinks it’s just rumors, Alpha Sheng Shaoyou (Kipuka Qiu Dingjie), the CEO of a major biopharmaceutical company, has heard rumors of an “enigma” sub-gender that surpasses even an alpha’s power.
He meets Omega Hua Yong (Eliot Huang Xing) during a business meeting with a corporate rival. Despite his objections, Shao You chooses to support Hua Yong after discovering that he is in a precarious financial situation. However, Hua Yong is hiding a secret that could ruin their relationship. Soon after, Shao You and Hua Yong realize how much they like each other. This drama is based on the novel Desire by Nong Jian.
ABO Concept
To better understand the series and its idea, here are some details about the ABO concept.
Alpha: Generally represented as the leaders of their social groups, having a dominating behavior, and possessing the capacity to impregnate Omegas in variations of the trope. They may have better mental or physical abilities. Additionally, S-class Alphas, characterized as rare, unusual, or extremely powerful, stand out as superior to other Alphas in the Desire series.
Beta: Beta characters are frequently shown as the average or normal individual. They usually play very minor roles or are completely overlooked in fiction books set in the Omegaverse.
Omega: Usually submissive and loving, they are reliant on an alpha for support because they are biologically capable of getting pregnant and going through a “heat” cycle that entails intense sexual cravings. Males and females can conceive as long as they are omega.
Enigma: The rarest individuals in the world of Omegaverse. They have special skills that set them apart from other alphas. For instance, they can dominate other alphas, impregnate people of any gender, and in certain variations. Furthermore, they can change their secondary gender or manipulate others.
Eliot Huang Xing as Hua Yong
Hua Yong is a young heir to the thriving empire known as X Holdings and an Enigma. He’s in love with Sheng Shao You, a powerful businessman who prefers wide-eyed, subservient Omegas. He will go to any length for his Alpha, even gathering all of Shao You’s ex-partners to learn more about his Alpha’s preferences and how to seduce him.
After discovering how to win his Alpha’s heart, he pretends to be an Omega. Given Shao You’s soft spot for the fragile omega, Hua Yong gets what he wants. He is superior to all other characters in the Desire series in terms of both physical and mental abilities.
Kipuka Qiu Dingjie as Sheng Shaoyou
Shao You, the one Hua Yong has been eyeing since he was a child. A dominant S-class Alpha owns a well-known pharmaceutical company. He is the kind of child who is so dedicated to his father that he has no time for romance since he is too busy trying to figure out a cure for his illness; his longest relationships lasted only six months.
However, when Hua Yong entered his life—an Omega who refused Shao You’s financial assistance despite being accustomed to people only interested in his wealth—Shao You’s curiosity was piqued. Shao You remains interested in Hua Yong through numerous interactions. As he realizes Hua Yong appears to be his type, he develops a stronger desire for him.
Li Pei En as Gao Tu
Due to family baggage and prior trauma, an Omega disguises itself as a Beta. His mother, a victim of an abusive relationship, forces Gao Tu to conceal his Omega status by using suppressants to prevent him from being taken advantage of like her because Omegas are frequently desired by aggressive, powerful Alphas.
My heart broke for this character since he truly suffers from all the terrible luck in the story. Including his father’s constant use of him to get money, his sister’s sickness, his poverty, and his college Alpha crush, who publicly expressed his hatred for Omega and unintentionally got him pregnant. He catches all the bad luck you could possibly think of.
Jiang Heng as Shen Wenlang
Shen Wen Lang, another powerful S-class Alpha and business owner. He helps Hua Yong in his plan to seduce and trap Shao You. Wen Lang and Gao Tu are college friends. Despite their mutual romantic interest, neither of them has any idea how the other feels. He and Gao Tu are the second couple of this series.
Moreover, ABO Desire also features supporting characters such as Chen Pinming, portrayed by Xuan Hao (Sheng Shaoyou’s secretary); Chang Yu, portrayed by Feng Jianyu (Hua Yong’s right-hand man); Sheng Shaoqing, portrayed by Liu Tian Yang (Sheng Shaoyou’s brother); Gao Lele, portrayed by Xu Rui (Gao Tu and Shen Wenlang’s child); and Hua Sheng/Peanut, portrayed by Chen Junyi (Hua Yong and Sheng Shaoyou’s child).
