The primary cast of the show consists of Huang Xing as Hua Yong, Kipuka Qiu Dingjie as Sheng Shaoyou, Li Pei En as Gao Tu, and Jiang Heng as Shen Wenlang.

1. First-ever Omegaverse Boy’s Love series
The series is adapted from Nong Jian’s novel, Desire. If you love manhwa, manga, and manhua boys’ love, you may already be familiar with the concept of the omegaverse; if not, this series is a great way to learn about everything from pheromones to mpreg (male pregnancy). This series portrays each character and explains all the information you need to know.
China is one of the countries that is well-known for its boy-love content, particularly in manhua. At the time, the country produced a few series, such as Addicted Heroine, The Untamed, Stay with Me, and more. However, because of censorship, some of the shows lost their capacity to convey the true storyline of the novel, and others were put on hold after hinting at a second season. As a result, ABO Desire not only becomes the first omegaverse, but they also go beyond expectations for the viewers.
2. Not Your Ideal Plot
A mystery virus has altered the pheromonal attraction and reproductive organs of every individual in the country, causing them to become sub-genders. The majority of people fall into one of the alpha, beta, or omega groups, while there are rare outliers. The CEO of a large biopharmaceutical business, Alpha Sheng Shaoyou (Kipuka Qiu Dingjie), has heard rumors of an “enigma” sub-gender that is stronger than even an alpha, but he believes them to be baseless.
You will understand how Sheng Shaoyou reacts after meeting the Omega Hua Yong (Eliot Huang Xing), who is only pretending and is truly an Enigma, and discovering that he is pregnant and carrying Enigma’s child. Furthermore, what will happen to Alpha Shen Wenlang (Jiang Heng) and Gao Tu (Li Pei En), two old college friends who prefer to hide their feelings from each other?

3. Remarkable Acting from the Main leads
Most of the main leads, except for Jiang Heng, have already made appearances in the series. Therefore, given their prior expertise, they continue to impress the audience with their talents, notably the complexity of the emotions they are expressing. The actors of ABO Desire set the standard so high that each episode was more thrilling than the last.
4. Breathtaking Chemistry
Who doesn’t like the chemistry from the actors? The actors’ chemistry is one reason viewers are watching the series. As everyone knows, chemistry plays an essential role throughout the entire series, both on and off camera.
Given their incredible chemistry, it’s an excellent decision to combine these four actors. Each pair’s distinctness ensures that their chemistry explodes even when placed next to each other. Moreover, they formed a Chinese boy group from the series named Desire4. Huang Xing, Jiang Heng, Li Peien, and Qiu Ding Jie make up the group. Furthermore, they made their first stage performance on September 20, 2025, at the Fact Music Awards in Macau, performing an original soundtrack from their series.
