Yves explores the contrasting sides of her emotions through two new tracks, “Hysteric” and “Adam,” from her upcoming fifth EP, Cute & Anxiety, arriving November 20.
South Korean singer-songwriter Yves continues to push musical boundaries with the release of her double singles “Hysteric” and “Adam.” Known for her genre-blending sound and distinctive vocals, she introduces another side of her artistry through the two tracks ahead of her upcoming fifth EP, Cute & Anxiety, out November 20.

Leading the release, “Hysteric” draws listeners into a dark, seductive deep-house sound. Built around a looping, distorted bassline, the track highlights her dynamic delivery as Yves moves from airy humming to more vulnerable confessions. It’s recurring title phrase, “Hysteric,” reflects the feeling of losing control and struggling with overwhelming emotions.
Meanwhile, “Adam” serves as the emotional afterimage of its companion track, adding another layer to the story behind the release.
Upcoming EP Cute & Anxiety
Both singles will appear on Cute & Anxiety, a five-track EP that also features Chilean artist AKRIILA on “Too Much.” Through the album, Yves explores the contrasting sides of her personality and the complicated emotions that exist between them. In particular, the EP examines the blurred boundaries between cuteness and anxiety. It brings different textures together, influences, and sounds to create a distinct musical identity.

Beyond her recorded releases, Yves continues to connect with international audiences through live performances. Following successful tours across Europe and America, she is preparing for another headline run across Asia and Australia. The tour begins in Hong Kong on November 1, with stops in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Japan. She will then head to Melbourne on November 15 before wrapping up in Sydney on November 17.
With “Hysteric” and “Adam,” Yves offers another glimpse into her evolving sound while embracing the emotional contrasts that define Cute & Anxiety.
