Silent Sanctuary will stage Gabi ng Lambing, their first-ever major solo arena concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on October 24 and 25. The six-piece Filipino rock band is set to step on a grander scale with their massive hits for their long-envisioned arena performance.
Billed as “24 Years of Songs,” the two-night celebration marks a major milestone for the band, which has been part of the local music scene since 2001 with its three founding members. Originally scheduled for October 25, the concert added a second night on October 24 following overwhelming demand, with the original show selling out within five hours of ticket sales, proving that they are timeless.
A Night Of Love Songs And Orchestral Rock
Known for its signature blend of rock instrumentation and classical strings, Silent Sanctuary is set to bring its signature “rockestra” sound to the arena alongside the Manila Symphony Orchestra and vocal ensemble Viva Voce, with additional surprise guests expected to join the celebration.
Fans can look forward to hearing beloved tracks alongside deeper cuts and fresh musical arrangements. With a full orchestra and choir accompanying the band, the concert promises a fresh take on the songs that have become part of many listeners’ love stories and cherished memories.
The band’s current lineup features longtime members Sarkie, Allen Calixto, and Anjo Inacay together with the band’s newest addition Kim Mirandilla-Ng, Ronnie Ropal, and Poch Villalon that will give a fresh take to the sound people have loved for years. The show will be directed by Paolo Valenciano alongside Ria Osorio leading the musical direction.
