Votte Hall and AZ join forces on “Motion Pt. 2,” a bold anthem about perseverance, success, and turning hard-earned dreams into reality.
Atlanta-based, Billboard-charting R&B artist Votte Hall returns with “Motion Pt. 2,” a new single featuring Brooklyn hip-hop veteran AZ. Hitmaker LaDamon “FatBoi” Douglas produced the track, bringing together soulful R&B and sharp East Coast lyricism.
“Motion Pt. 2” reflects on the journey behind success. Hall uses the track to revisit the long nights, sacrifices, and persistence that shaped his career. Over FatBoi’s rich production, he celebrates the rewards that followed, from luxury cars to penthouse views.
AZ adds his signature wordplay to the record. His verse focuses on perseverance, principles, and the discipline required to keep moving forward. Together, the artists turn the song into a celebration that still remembers the work behind the achievement.
FatBoi brings an extensive production résumé to the collaboration. His credits include work with Gucci Mane, Jeezy, Nicki Minaj, Ella Mai, Monica, Flo Rida, and Plies. Meanwhile, AZ first gained widespread attention through his appearance alongside Nas on Illmatic. He later built a respected solo career with projects such as Doe or Die and the hit single “Sugar Hill.” He also joined Nas, Foxy Brown, and Nature in The Firm.
A New Chapter for Votte Hall
Hall broke through with “Kiss On Me” in 2018 and later earned Billboard chart recognition. He has since performed on major stages and appeared at events connected to professional sports. His 2024 album Heartbreaker further expanded his audience.
His musical identity draws from R&B and soul while incorporating Afrobeats and global rhythms. His Gullah Geechee, African, and Caribbean heritage also informs his approach to rhythm and storytelling.
Before his music career reached larger stages, Hall balanced his artistic ambitions with a corporate career. He worked, handled everyday responsibilities, and continued developing his music. That experience gives “Motion Pt. 2” a broader message for people pursuing their goals while managing ordinary life.
The track speaks to entrepreneurs waiting for their businesses to grow, artists looking for their breakthrough, and professionals building something beyond their day jobs. “Motion Pt. 2” captures the moment when years of persistence finally begin to pay off.
