Phoebe Bridgers returns after six years with her 16-track third album, Lost Weekend, alongside a surreal new video for “I Can’t Wait.”
Four-time GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter and producer Phoebe Bridgers has returned with her long-awaited third solo album, Lost Weekend. Released via Dead Oceans, the 16-track project marks her first solo album in six years.

Bridgers also celebrates the release with a new music video for the album’s focus track, “I Can’t Wait.” Directors Chris Maggio and Pablo Rochat bring the song to life through a surreal visual that offers a playful, bug-eyed take on an ordinary day in Los Angeles.
With Lost Weekend, Bridgers continues to develop the songwriting style that made her previous records so distinctive. At the same time, she pushes beyond familiar territory. The album revisits some of her recurring themes while introducing unexpected sounds, arrangements, and ideas.
A Global Celebration for Lost Weekend
Fans marked the album’s arrival through a series of global midnight listening events. Locations across Southeast Asia also hosted sessions, with each event reaching full capacity. Attendees received an early listen to the record, exclusive physical variants, and limited-edition keepsakes.
Bridgers also previewed the album inside planetariums around the world. These sessions paired the music with immersive visual experiences. Renowned night-sky photographer Babak Tafreshi created a custom dome show, while Laser Fantasy designed an atmospheric laser presentation. The experiences transformed the album’s first listen into an audiovisual event.
Lost Weekend follows Bridgers’ acclaimed sophomore album, Punisher, which earned multiple GRAMMY nominations after its release during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her debut album, Stranger in the Alps, arrived shortly after her 23rd birthday and established her as a formidable songwriter. Punisher later expanded that reputation with its intimate writing, adventurous production, and memorable arrangements.
Bridgers spent much of the years between her solo albums building an impressive body of work. She performed with boygenius, her supergroup with Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker, and helped the trio earn multiple GRAMMY Awards for their 2023 album. They won Best Alternative Music Album, Best Rock Song, and Best Rock Performance for “Not Strong Enough.”
Bridgers also earned her fourth GRAMMY for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance through her appearance on SZA’s “Ghost in the Machine.” Moreover, she joined Taylor Swift for dates on The Eras Tour after completing her own extensive Reunion Tour.
A New Chapter After Six Years
During her solo hiatus, Bridgers continued releasing standalone songs, covers, and collaborations. Her work with Paul McCartney, MUNA, Bright Eyes, The 1975, Lorde, Taylor Swift, and The National kept her presence strong across the alternative and indie music scenes.

Her global reach has continued to grow as well. Bridgers now has a combined audience of more than 4.1 million across platforms, with strong listenership throughout Asia. The Philippines and Indonesia rank among her top 10 global audience markets.
The release of Lost Weekend follows a sold-out 45-date arena tour across North America, the UK, Ireland, and Europe. The tour sold out within hours of its general on-sale, reflecting the enormous anticipation surrounding Bridgers’ return.
After six years away from solo album releases, Bridgers has finally opened the next chapter of her career. With Lost Weekend, she builds on an established songwriting legacy while leaving plenty of room for surprise.
