1st.One unveils their debut album, GIGIL, a bold 11-track record featuring the six-year story of their battles, perseverance, and creative freedom.
Six years in the P-Pop scene, 1st.One continues to strive as one of the pioneers in the industry, embarking on a new era of musical identity highlighting their strengths and growth with their debut album, GIGIL.
With the release of this much anticipated debut album, Ace, Max, Alpha, J, Russ (Joker), and Jayson look back on the sacrifices, setbacks, and milestones that have shaped their career. From undergoing rigorous training and workshops under a Korean entertainment company to making history with their performance at Seoul Music Awards in 2020 before officially debuting with “You Are The One (Ttak Maja Nah)” in July of the same year, the group has overcome numerous challenges. Reaching to this point where they can fully embrace their creative freedom was never an easy step.
In this new artistic direction of 1st.One, the album is more than just 11 tracks but also a collection of six years’ worth of stories and experiences. Each member took part in the album’s creative process, not only in songwriting but also in shaping its concept and overall visual identity alongside their producers Kenneth Ponce and Ken Ponce.
After releasing numerous songs over the years, the P-Pop boy group finally got the opportunity to showcase more of their individualities and the sound they truly want to be known for.

“Raulo”
To introduce the Gigil album, “Raulo” opens with an explosive burst of energy blending with aggressive rap. The track explores the chaos of chasing dreams, feeling trapped by limitations, and facing society’s judgment for pursuing one’s passion.

Written by member J, the lyrics capture the frustration and determination of pushing forward despite obstacles standing in the way.
“Gigil”
“Gigil” serves as the title track of this album. The song embodies the journey of grief, hardship, resilience and awakening of 1st.One for the past years. It tells how the group endures the pain and overcomes every obstacle that strengthens their confidence in showcasing their craft.
As one of the album’s power anthems, the term “gigil” highlights raw and unfiltered expressions. From the growls and commanding vocals to its intense choreography, every element of the song radiates passion and determination. With this, the group proves why they are a true dark horse who fearlessly showcase their strength, music, and undeniable presence.
“Pomada”
Let’s get into the fan favorite! “Pomada” is a swagger anthem that honors confidence and individuality. This track stands out with its sleek production and infectious grooves, encouraging listeners to embrace their own style without seeking validation from other people.

Written by J and Russ, it tells a personal story about preparing to face the world—getting dressed, styling their hair, and putting on their best self before stepping into the spotlight.
“Halika Na”
“Halika Na” is an upbeat invitation to not hold back and enjoy the present life. This catchy track shows a seductive instrumental blending with 1st.One enticing vocals. One of the song highlights is the Spanish lyrics that adds an appealing part to the song.

“Baby I’m Sorry”
“Baby I’m Sorry” is a heartfelt apology accompanied by emotional melodies. The song explores the longing and regret in a relationship with a hope to reconcile after a series of realizations.

“Gusto Mo Ba?” Ft. Jikamarie
This R&B pop collaboration of 1st.One with Jikamarie shows more of their flirtatious side. “Gusto Mo Ba?” explores the excitement of taking the first steps, building a sweet tension between people sharing the same interests.
The chemistry in exchanges of parts is alluring making the song irresistible and inviting.

“F1”
Just like the intensity of Formula One racing, “F1” channels ambition and relentless drive to stay ahead. This track is a song of motivation for keeping forward and not giving up on dreams despite uncertainties.

Written by members Ace and Alpha, the song’s dynamic production mirrors the group’s determination in accelerating their goals with kindness and uniqueness.
“Bintana”
One of the album’s reflective moments, “Bintana” is an emotional ballad track symbolizing hope in this ever-changing navigating world. Through its heartfelt lyrics and delivery, the song emphasizes to look beyond the present struggles towards brighter possibilities.

During their album launch, Max mentioned that he wrote this song as a tribute to his grandmother who loves looking out of windows.
“Kung Saan Saan” ft. Yuridope
“Kung Saan Saan” is a pop R&B anthem about unrequited love that was first released in January alongside its music video. This album version of the song features Filipino rapper, Yuridope, adding a fresh dynamic to the song.
It talks about the frustration of longing for someone who keeps looking elsewhere when the person who truly cares for them is right there all along.
“The Lawyer”
Speaking of a banger, this alternative pop rock song will send chills down your spine. Features unconventional instrumentals, making it more intense and confrontational among the other tracks in the album. The song delivers courtroom metaphors in life and emotional battles which showcases another dimension of the group’s storytelling.

“Love Letter (Wag Kang Bibitaw)”
Closing the album with a heartfelt note, “Love Letter (Wag Kang Bibitaw)” delivers a sincere promise of 1st.One’s unwavering love and commitment to their music, family, friends, and to their fans—For Ones.
