Viu has released the first teaser for kiDnap GAME, an ambitious pan-Asian suspense thriller set to premiere in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The series features an international ensemble led by Philippine acting icon Joel Torre alongside Lee Joon-gi, Kentaro Sakaguchi, Alice Ko, Stanley Yau, Carrie Wong, and Praew Narupornkamol Chaisang.
Filmed over three years in multiple locations across Asia, including Manila, kiDnap GAME promises a gripping story that spans borders while bringing together some of the region’s biggest stars.
The series begins with seven kidnappings that happen simultaneously across Asia. As a result, seven strangers from different countries become trapped in a deadly survival game. Only one of them can ultimately make it out alive.
Moreover, the story unfolds across seven Asian cities, raising the stakes with every twist. The first teaser offers a glimpse of the mystery, tension, and emotional conflicts that await viewers.
Joel Torre Represents the Philippines
Award-winning Filipino actor Joel Torre plays Miguel, a taxi driver whose life is suddenly pulled into the dangerous game. His character must navigate impossible choices as the mystery surrounding the kidnappings deepens.
Meanwhile, Torre joins an impressive multinational cast that includes Lee Joon-gi from South Korea, Kentaro Sakaguchi from Japan, Alice Ko from Taiwan, Stanley Yau from Hong Kong, Carrie Wong from Singapore, and Praew Narupornkamol Chaisang from Thailand.
In addition, Torre’s casting marks another significant milestone for Philippine talent in a major international co-production. His participation further highlights the growing presence of Filipino actors in projects that bring together creative teams from across Asia.
