Single’s Inferno has had plenty of contestants fall in love, and some couples have been truly unforgettable!
Netflix ships participants to an island named Inferno as part of Single’s Inferno, Netflix’s dating reality show. Their only goal is to get to know each other and find a match. If they have successfully coupled up, they can leave the island and go to “Paradise,” which is a luxury hotel where they can spend the night eating the best food and sleeping in a comfy bed, or even have a fun date in either a bowling alley, an indoor carnival, or the pool.
There are definitely lots of noteworthy moments in their 10 days on the island. In this article, we have listed one memorable female contestant from each Single’s Inferno season.

Ahn Ye-won
Ahn Ye-won enters the island in a stunning red dress and a charming smile. She’s everybody’s friend on the island. Her playful and bubbly personality also invites the viewers in and makes you want to root for her!

She was memorable, especially for her chemistry with Cha Hyun-seung, a 31-year-old dancer who entered halfway through the show as the game changer. While talking with all the girls in rotation to decide whom he would bring to Paradise, Ye Won charmed Hyun-seung. He couldn’t stop talking about her to others!
But ultimately, he chose Song JiA to bring with him to Paradise, making all the fans sigh in disappointment.
In a video from Ye-won’s YouTube channel, she invites Hyun-seung for a Q&A, asking him the important question: did he have any interest in her?
Turns out, he did! But he did not think anyone reciprocated. What a tale of missed chances.
Ye-won pretty much became everybody’s counselor (which, as she mentions in the video, is pretty fun for her) but a lot of Single’s Inferno viewers definitely wished she had more screen time!
Lee So-e
Lee So-e entered the island in an adorable fashion. In her introduction, she mentions how she has succeeded in getting a guy she liked to ask her out before. So she approaches dating with a mindset of, “We’ll see how long you’ll last without liking me.”

She initially falls for Jo Young-jae. In Episode 4, she chooses him to go to Paradise with, but Young-jae chooses someone else. The pair are left in paradise and start talking about their values in dating, her feelings for him, and the hurt she feels from not being among the women Young-jae is interested in. But still, she respectfully tells Young-jae that she will still stay true to who she is and her feelings, even if it’s embarrassing or sad.
So, when Kim Se Jun came to the island as the game changer and chose her for Paradise, everybody was rooting for them! Suddenly, our patient girl, who experienced unrequited love from Young-jae, is finally being chosen!
During the show, she revealed that she was an acting major in Hanyang University. After Single’s Inferno, she appeared in the show “The Glory” as Yoon So-hee.
Yu Si-eun
Yu Si-eun enters the second Inferno Island in Single’s Inferno Season 3 elegantly. The panelists immediately note that she looks like Jennie from BLACKPINK. When the two islands came together, she met Choi Min-woo for the first time, and he instantly told her he wanted to chat. Two shy people coming together out of genuine curiosity for each other creates a cute dynamic where you see them try their best to reassure and get to know each other.

Yu Si-eun and Min-woo make history as the first ever couple to have left Inferno together without even going to Paradise. They only knew each other’s ages on the last bonfire of the week!
They kept missing each other—Si-eun would end up at Paradise with Son Wok-ik, while Min-woo went with Kim Gyu-ri. Halfway through, Si-eun grew frustrated, but with Jin-seok’s encouragement, she never gave up.
In the end, she gets the guy! Inferno really became their Paradise.
Kim Min-seol
Kim Min-seol shyly enters the Female Inferno in Season 4, with her bright smile and puppy-like energy as the maknae. Every emotion plays across her face, making the panelists find her utterly adorable.

When she and Yuk Jeon-seo returned to the island, she used the classic innocent flirting move of leaving her glasses behind as an excuse to go back and talk to him. But in the end, she didn’t get the guy she wanted. The show never showed her interacting much with other guys, even though she mentioned being curious about some of them, like Jang Theo or An Jong-hoon.
What makes her truly memorable are her reactions! You can instantly tell when she’s jealous or confused, but also when she lights up with happiness whenever Jun-seo gives her attention. She claims she won’t be swayed by her feelings during their one-on-one speed dates in Episode 5, yet she’s quickly swept off her feet in the moment.
Her inexperienced but innocent approach was a breath of fresh air with the tense air in the island. She was not playing games! She focused her affections on Jun-seo, clearly stating her feelings.
Park Hee-sun
Park Hee-sun was the first female contestant to be introduced in Season 5, and the panellists quickly remarked that she resembled a Barbie doll. In her introduction, she described herself as proactive, someone who goes after what she wants—and she definitely lived up to her words!

From the start, Hee-sun knew she had feelings for Choi Su-bin and made it clear, even while Su-bin was still infatuated with Choi Mina Sue. She waited patiently, never pushed, and stayed true to herself. Confident and self-assured, she let everything happen in its own time.
Hee-sun was right—one night in Paradise was all it took for Su-bin to fall for her! It’s the classic “she fell first, but he fell harder” trope. Su Bin was ready to throw himself into the sea if Hee-sun didn’t choose him!
Netflix also features other dating shows like Single’s Inferno. The Love Lab and Better Late than Single now have new episodes.
