Pete Enters the Life Spirit Realm in WU The Series Episode 7

WU The Series episode 7 opens with Pete and Niran eating together. Pete asks Niran if he has a grand plan for his life. Pete shares that he wants to return to college, while Niran admits he does not really know his own plans.

He teases Niran, insisting that it is impossible to have no direction in life. In response, Niran asks Pete to help him figure it out. Back in the present, Pete begins the ritual Jia Hao teaches him to enter the Life Spirit Realm.

Jia Hao warns Pete that he can only stay in the realm for eight hours, or it will consume his soul. When Pete enters the realm, he finds himself in his home with both parents alive and his sister present. Although he realizes the illusion, Pete feels happy seeing his family together again. However, he chooses to leave them so he can continue searching for Niran, even if it means he may never see them again.

Pete Meets Young Niran

Pete is later transported to the past, where he meets young Niran searching for Suming School to become a Wu. He tries to convince him that the world is not real and tells him that he will become a strong Wu in the future. However, young Niran refuses to believe him and continues walking.

Pete follows him and tries to stop him, explaining that he will never reach the school in this illusion. He insists that Niran should come with him to see his future as a Wu.

Later, Pete is transported again to another moment in time, where he meets an older Niran fighting a yao. At first, Niran does not recognize him, but he eventually remembers Pete. When Pete asks him to return to the real world, Niran refuses, saying it feels better in the realm. As Pete begs him to leave, Niran continues to refuse. Pete then notices Niran slowly fading away and breaks down in tears.

Pete Tries to Save Niran

After the older Niran vanishes, young Niran appears again. Pete stops crying and tells him with confidence that he will become a Wu if he leaves with him. The young Niran takes his hand and agrees to follow him out of the realm.

Pete wakes up in the real world and receives a call from Jia Hao informing him that Niran has regained consciousness. He immediately rushes to the hospital to see him. The episode ends with Pete giving Niran his mother’s ring, saying it will protect him.

Episode 7 of WU The Series shifts the focus into a more emotional and introspective direction by placing Pete inside the Life Spirit Realm. The illusion of his family adds emotional weight, testing his resolve and forcing him to choose between comfort and duty.

His encounters with different versions of Niran strengthen their bond while also highlighting how deeply he understands Niran’s struggles. The episode ends on a satisfying note as Pete successfully brings Niran back, reinforcing the strength of their connection despite the danger.
