Chinese-American singer-songwriter Emei embraces her theatrical side with her new EP, Night at the Opera. The EP was released through Atlantic Records and Nice Life. The project highlights her signature mix of emotional honesty, vibrant storytelling, and dramatic pop energy.

The five-track EP reflects Emei’s return to her musical theatre roots. She explores intense emotions, personal experiences, and larger-than-life moments while embracing the creativity and confidence she once found on stage. “I wanted to lean into being a theater kid again,” she shares. The singer added that the project captures all the pain, emotion, and drama that define her artistry.
