At the same time, SamSam continues his transition into English-language music. As a result, “Taste of You” marks a clear turning point in his artistic journey. The song dives into the emotional chaos of a toxic yet magnetic relationship, where desire and heartbreak constantly pull two people back together, even as damage builds between them.

A Push and Pull Single “Taste of You

“Taste of You” explores emotional dependency and unresolved tension. It highlights the push and pull between pride and vulnerability. In this space, love becomes addictive and hard to escape. Rather than telling a simple romance story, SamSam leans into emotional conflict and intensity.

Musically, the track matches that energy. Dark pop production builds tension from the start. Meanwhile, bold vocal delivery adds urgency and emotion. In addition, the song carries a cinematic feel that heightens its impact and gives it a larger-than-life atmosphere.

At the same time, the music video expands the story even further. It unfolds like a short film, blending narrative scenes with explosive choreography and emotionally charged performance moments. As the story develops, chaos and passion collide, leading to an unexpected twist at the end.

Meet SamSam: A Rising Star from Myanmar

Born Sittpainghtet, SamSam first rose to fame in Myanmar under his stage name. He gained attention through hit songs like “Thit Sar Shi Par Naw” and “Shwe Chay Chin,” building a strong fanbase across the country.

Following his debut album Lights in 2019, he established himself as one of Myanmar’s leading R&B and pop voices. Soon after, fans crowned him the “Prince of Myanmar,” supported by his loyal fanbase, the “Lighters.”

Originally from Lashio and raised in Mandalay, SamSam started studying piano at the age of six. Over time, he developed a deep passion for singing and live performance, which shaped his early artistic direction.

Later, after the success of Lights, he performed his first international concert in Bangkok in 2020. That moment marked the beginning of his expansion beyond Myanmar and into broader regional recognition.
