From playful confessions to heartfelt moments, LenaMiu turned their Safe Zone fan meeting into an unforgettable experience.

The cheers began even before Lena and Miu (LenaMiu) stepped onto the stage.

By the second day of Lena and Miu’s fan meeting in the Philippines, held at the UP Theater in Quezon City, the excitement had hardly waned. Produced by Wish Us Luck, the event once again filled the venue with fans eager to spend a few more hours with the pair whose chemistry has captivated audiences both on and off the screen.

For supporters who have followed their journey from the beginning, the event was more than a chance to see Lena and Miu in person. It was an opportunity to step into the “safe zone” they had built together. A space filled with laughter, stories, and the kind of effortless connection that has made them beloved among fans.

Appropriately themed around their drama, Safe Zone, the fan meeting unfolded like a gathering among friends. Between playful games, candid conversations, and reenactments of fan-favorite scenes, Lena and Miu reminded everyone why their partnership continues to resonate long after the cameras stop rolling.

One of the loudest laughs of the afternoon came when Lena and Miu were tricked into saying “masarap” instead of “masaya” when asked about their experience meeting Filipino fans. The moment they realized why the audience was reacting so strongly, both doubled over in laughter before jokingly asking if there were any children in attendance. The playful misunderstanding only added to the easygoing atmosphere that defined much of the fan meeting.

How well do LenaMiu really know each other?

Another highlight of the afternoon was the game segment “Can You Read My Mind?” where LenaMiu answered questions about each other, revealing just how well they know one another.

Who apologizes first? Miu.

Who takes the longest to reply to messages? Lena.

Who gets jealous first? Both initially pointed at each other, though Miu insisted that Lena gets jealous more quickly than she lets on. “She looks like she doesn’t get jealous,” Miu teased, “but she actually does.”

When asked who is more clingy, both pointed at each other. The same thing happened when the topic turned to late-night cravings. With Miu joking that Lena’s cravings extend well beyond midnight and into breakfast.

And when it came to who says “I miss you” first, the answer came without hesitation: Miu.

The candidness of their answers offered fans a glimpse into a dynamic that feels as natural off-screen as it does on-screen.

From Safe Zone to What’s Next

Perhaps the loudest reactions, however, came during discussions about their work together. When asked about their initial thoughts upon learning they would be partnered for the project, Lena delivered a line that instantly sent the venue into hysterics.

When I saw her, I thought, ‘I’m about to be kissing this woman nonstop?’

The remark perfectly encapsulated the humor that defined much of the event. Yet beneath the laughter was an appreciation for the trust they have built. Both emphasized that working together has “never been awkward,” even when filming intimate scenes.

That comfort was on full display during the “Safe Zone Archive” segment, where they revisited memorable moments from the series. Fans erupted as the pair recreated scenes from their first encounters. Miu leaned fully into the drama while Lena jokingly had to “drag” her away to calm her down.

But what truly made the fan meeting memorable was not any single game, joke, or reenactment. It was the atmosphere. Throughout the event, Lena and Miu interacted with one another with a familiarity that felt genuine rather than rehearsed. Every glance, every tease, and every shared laugh reinforced the reason fans continue to support them.

By the time the event drew to a close, there was one final surprise. The pair hinted at their return to the Philippines before the year ends, mentioning Cebu as a possible destination.

The announcement was met with immediate cheers, but it also carried an unspoken promise: this goodbye was only temporary.

As the final song played and fans prepared to head home, the feeling remained the same. The event had provided a few hours where everyone in the room could simply exist together in the world LenaMiu had created. A safe zone, indeed.

And while the curtains have closed on their Philippine fan meeting, fans will not have to wait long to see the pair together again. With their upcoming series PLS Love already on the horizon, LenaMiu’s story is far from over.

If their time in the Philippines proved anything, it is that wherever they go next—whether back to the Philippines or onto a new screen—there will be countless fans ready to follow.

Pop Journal would like to thank Wish Us Luck for the media invitation for both days of the LenaMiu fanmeeting in Manila.
