Heads up, Filo BREAD fans! Tribute band TOAST is set to perform in Manila and Cebu on August 12 and 15, 2026.
TOAST – The BEST of BREAD is on their way to bring back the unique sound of the 70s as they head to Manila and Cebu this August. As a gift for Filipino fans, singer-composer Noel Cabangon will also join as a special guest.
The band is scheduled to perform at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on August 12 before heading to the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel on August 15. Both shows are made possible by Ovation Productions in cooperation with Blast TV.
Formed in the 1970s, BREAD was a popular American soft rock band. They were originally composed of David Gates, Jimmy Griffin, and Robb Royer. However, other members, such as Mike Botts and Larry Knechtel, later joined the group at different times. Some of their greatest hits include “Make It With You,” “Everything I Own,” “If,” and “Baby I’m-A Want You.”
While the members’ last reunion was in the late 90s, their legacy lives on through their fans’ support. Because of their love, BREAD’s tribute band TOAST was born. Over the years, they quickly became known for their ability to faithfully match BREAD’s original recordings and the members’ solo music.
Many fans who have experienced TOAST’s live performances hold the same sentiment, even sharing comments like “It was as if it was Bread themselves performing! Over the top amazing! Brought back so many memories.”
