This is a collaboration with producer Harper James (Hudson Freeman, Eighty Ninety, Aaron Taos). The album is also YONAH’s most personal project to date. Bird of Miracles draws inspiration from the Hebrew meaning of his name, which translates to “dove of miracles.” It also serves as both a tribute to his late father and an exploration of his identity.

The album features 11 songs and explores themes of religion, rebellion, and reconciliation. Ultimately, it traces a path toward acceptance and gratitude.

Yonah shares his thoughts on making the album:

This album is an ode to my father, a way of saying goodbye to my childhood, embracing adulthood, and accepting the man I’m becoming,

I was always rebellious growing up, pushing back against religion, God, and the institutions I was raised in. It’s taken time, but I’ve come to love and respect where I come from, and I carry a deep gratitude for my father and the values he instilled in me. Religious or not, I owe my life to him, and the only way I can move forward is by blessing the past.
