Atlanta-born artist JID is bringing his GOD DOES LIKE WORLD TOURS to the Philippines on May 30, 2026, at the Podium Hall. Presented by Wilbros Live, the concert promoter promises an intimate and blazing set from the rapper.
GOD DOES LIKE WORLD TOURS is JID’s most extensive tour to date, spanning across four continents: North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. Now, in the latter half of his tour, he’s scheduled to perform in the Philippines after his show in Malaysia.
JID officially signed with J.Cole’s label, Dreamville Records, in 2017. While this is considered his debut, he had long been known in the underground scene. He dropped multiple mixtapes and even performed with notable artists such as EarthGang, Bas, and Omen for their tours.
Since his debut, he has released four albums: The Never Story (2017), DiCaprio 2 (2018), The Forever Story (2022), and God Does Like Ugly (2025). His rich and diverse discography gradually became hip-hop favorites, praised for its deep lyricism.
Some of his biggest hits include “Surround Sound,” “Dance Now,” and “151 Rum.” He also joined Imagine Dragons for “Enemy,” the lead single of the Arcane series soundtrack.
The GOD DOES LIKE tour was launched in support of his fourth full-length album, released last year. It’s considered the long-awaited successor of The Forever Story, which continues to receive rave reviews to this day. Because of its impressive production and songwriting, it came as no surprise when his latest album received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album.
