Chevon release their major debut album SanShaSanYou featuring lead single “B.O.A.T,” sell out their largest national tour, and showcase a shift from darker themes to hope and determination.
Sapporo-based trio Chevon are rapidly emerging as one of Japan’s most exciting new bands, captivating audiences with immersive live performances and literary, evocative songwriting. On April 8, they released their major debut album SanShaSanYou, a 13-track project that includes four new songs and marks a significant evolution in their sound.
The lead single, “B.O.A.T” (“Bright Of All Time”), arrives with a music video on YouTube and serves as a powerful rock anthem. It reflects the band’s shift from exploring darker themes to embracing determination, hope, and light.
Chevon’s ONE MAN TOUR 2026 SanShaSanYou—the largest in the band’s history—sold out almost immediately, including a highly anticipated show at Yokohama Arena. Due to overwhelming demand, two additional performances have been added at Nippon Budokan on December 20 and 21, 2026.
Following their major debut and a fully sold-out national tour, Chevon’s momentum shows no signs of slowing. All eyes are on what the band will do next as they continue to push creative boundaries and define their unique sound.
About the Group
Chevon brings together three distinct musicians: vocalist Mayu Tanikino, guitarist KtjM (Kitajima), and bassist Tatsuya Ohno. From the start, the band has stood out because of their unusual song structures and chilling melodies.
In particular, Tanikino’s haunting voice draws listeners in and gives each song a strong emotional pull. At the same time, their lyrics explore both beauty and darkness, as Tanikino shares personal thoughts and experiences.
