The highly anticipated romantic comedy K-drama Perfect Crown, starring IU as Seong Hui Ju and Byeon Woo-seok as Prince Yi An, is set to hit screens soon. The series will run for 12 episodes and premieres on April 10, 2026, airing every Friday and Saturday. Fans can also stream it on Disney+.
Set in an alternate-reality South Korean constitutional monarchy, Perfect Crown follows chaebol heiress Seong Hui Ju. Despite her wealth, she feels restricted by her “commoner” status. To gain what she lacks, she enters a contract marriage with Prince Yi An. Meanwhile, Yi An, though born into royalty, lives a quiet and lonely life, unable to truly claim anything as his own.
As their paths finally cross, their contrasting struggles begin to collide. Hui Ju’s bold and ambitious nature challenges Yi An’s reserved world. At the same time, Yi An, long used to hiding his true self, slowly begins to change after meeting Hui Ju—someone who mirrors him in many ways yet chooses to live differently.

Lee Ji Eun, widely known as IU, stars as Seong Hui Ju, a chaebol heiress of illegitimate birth considered a “commoner.” Determined to secure her social standing, she proposes a formal contract marriage to Prince Yi An.
