In Your Radiant Season Recap: Ha-ran Searches for Chan

Episode 12 of In Your Radiant Season opens with Ha-ran looking for Chan. Mr. Park tells her that he left in the middle of the night. Shortly after, Ben arrives with news that Chan has suddenly quit his job. Mr. Park gives Ha-ran Chan’s broken tablet and explains that Chan hesitated to tell her the truth because of his missing memories. On her way out, Ha-ran notices a post-it on her car that reads, “end of trial.”

Ha-ran turns to Su-jin, the only person who might know more. Su-jin reveals that Chan became frustrated trying to reach Ha-ran, who had been busy with work. While at the hospital for surgery, he grew close to Su-jin, and feelings developed between them. Su-jin explains that Chan had initially asked her to message Ha-ran on his behalf, which set the chain of events in motion. She also shares details about Chan’s medical condition and the memory distortions he might be experiencing.

A flashback shows Ha-ran booking her tickets to the US. She tells Ha-young that while she hadn’t felt strongly about Chan before, her feelings have changed. Back in the present, Ha-ran finds the pen she had thrown away earlier. In that moment, she realizes it was always Chan she truly had feelings for.
