PLAVE will release their fourth mini album, Caligo Pt. 2, this April, continuing the storyline introduced in their previous release.

K-pop virtual idol group PLAVE has officially announced their return with a fourth mini album, Caligo Pt. 2, set for digital release on April 13, followed by a physical release on April 14. The group revealed the comeback on March 19 through a “Coming Soon” poster and a prologue video shared across their official social media platforms.

The upcoming project serves as a direct continuation of Caligo Pt. 1, which was released in February 2025 and marked a major milestone for the group after charting on Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excluding US rankings. The newly released prologue video expands on the narrative introduced in the music video for “Dash,” the previous album’s title track.

The teaser begins from YEJUN’s perspective. He is shown injured and unconscious, while MMMM reacts with concern. The scene shifts to a ruined city where HAMIN confronts Caligo. YEJUN then disappears in a glitch. He later wakes up in an unknown space. He activates a glowing crystal, sending a signal marked “Connection Succeeded.” A door opens as a beam of light descends, revealing the Caligo Pt. 2 logo.

The announcement comes after several milestones for PLAVE. In November, the group released the collaborative single album PLBBUU with Sanrio characters. They also completed their first Asia tour. The 2025 PLAVE Asia Tour ‘DASH: Quantum Leap Encore’ at Gocheok Sky Dome sold out both dates. This made them the first virtual idol group to sell out two major venues in South Korea, including KSPO Dome.

PLAVE celebrated their third debut anniversary on March 12. They held a live broadcast event screened in 41 CGV cinemas across South Korea. The comeback date was revealed during the event.
