In Your Radiant Season Episode 10 Recap: Chan Promises the Truth as Ha-ran Discovers a Clue

In Your Radiant Season episode 10 continues at the hospital, where Chan reassures Ha-ran that he will recover. Soon after, they run into Su-jin, leading to an awkward exchange that ends with her bracelet breaking. Later, Ha-ran properly celebrates Chan’s birthday with a cake and the cardigan she made for him. Playfully, she tells him she plans to use his “free trial” for the rest of her life. Meanwhile, Mr. Park and Na-na return to the cafe, where she finally realizes he knows about her condition. Overcome with fear, Na-na breaks down and admits how terrified she feels.

Not long after, Su-jin notices that one of her bracelet charms is missing. At home, Ha-ran finds the charm in her bag, raising questions. Meanwhile, Chan continues writing his story on his tablet. The following day, Ha-ran decides to clean the attic where she used to spend much of her time. During the process, she discovers an old letter from Hyeok-chan mentioning a roommate named Chan, adding another piece to the puzzle.

That evening, Ha-ran goes on a movie date with Chan. He tells her he plans to reveal everything afterward. However, a sudden fire breaks out in the theater, forcing everyone to evacuate. As chaos unfolds, Chan searches desperately for Ha-ran. But the emergency triggers painful flashbacks from the day of the blast, worsening the condition affecting his hearing. When they finally find each other, Ha-ran immediately senses that something is wrong.

Later, Ha-ran confides in her grandmother, expressing concern that Chan keeps insisting he is fine even when he clearly struggles. Her grandmother advises her to remain by his side and support him through the uncertainty.

Ha-young Discovers Na-na’s Condition

The next day, Mr. Park visits the atelier with coffee for everyone. He gently tells Na-na that he knows about her medical checkup and insists on accompanying her to the hospital. It shows his quiet determination to stand beside her.

Na-na gradually shifts more of her responsibilities to Ha-ran, leaving her overwhelmed with an ever-growing workload. Meanwhile, Ha-young visits Na-na’s office and notices a set of reminder notes carefully arranged to help her keep track of daily tasks. The discovery raises concern, and Ha-young soon realizes that Na-na has been showing signs of memory loss. She also learns that Na-na has quietly planned to move to a senior care center within the next few months.

Ha-young informs her sisters, and together they open Na-na’s locked cabinet. Inside, they find a heartfelt letter in which Na-na explains her plan to travel to France to rest, asking them not to search for her. Alongside the letter, they discover three wedding dresses that Na-na personally made for each of her granddaughters, revealing how much thought she has given to their future.

Worried, Ha-dam calls You-gyum and insists he reveal Na-na’s location. They quickly rush to the hospital and embrace their grandmother with relief and emotion. Mr. Park shares how much You-gyum has helped during this difficult time, prompting Ha-dam to personally thank him for his support. Tae-suk soon hears the news and hurries to the hospital as well, apologizing to Ha-young for not realizing sooner that Na-na had been struggling.

After a thorough examination, the doctor reveals that Na-na does not have dementia but hydrocephalus, a condition caused by an abnormal buildup of cerebrospinal fluid. Although the symptoms resemble memory loss, surgery can improve her condition. Na-na is admitted to the hospital immediately, yet she reassures her family and encourages them to continue focusing on their responsibilities, trusting Mr. Park to remain by her side.

Ha-ran Learns the Truth About Chan’s Identity

Mr. Park also calls Chan, who quickly arrives to support Ha-ran at the hospital. While he steps out to get her some food, Su-jin approaches Ha-ran and asks if Chan is her boyfriend, creating an uncomfortable moment. Later, Na-na speaks with Chan privately and sincerely tells him to stay by Ha-ran’s side for a long time, showing her quiet approval of their relationship.

Before leaving, Chan confronts Su-jin and warns her to stop interfering with Ha-ran’s life. He presses her once more about what really happened on the day of the accident, but she refuses to answer. Afterwards, fragments of memory return to Chan, reminding him that he once confessed the truth to Hyeok-chan—that he had been communicating with Ha-ran while pretending to be him.

The next day, Ha-ran goes to the hospital to return Su-jin’s missing charm. When Chan learns about it, he rushes there but cannot find her. Instead, Ha-ran stops by the cafe on her way to the airport and heads up to Chan’s room to return the cardigan he had lent her. While inside, she discovers Chan’s notebook filled with detailed notes about Hyeok-chan and his fragmented memories. The discovery leaves her shaken as she pieces together the truth.

When Chan returns home, he realizes Ha-ran has already left and understands what she must have seen. After searching for her anxiously, he finally finds her at the cafe later that evening. There, Ha-ran confronts him directly, asking if he enjoyed pretending to be Kang Hyeok-chan, marking a painful turning point in their relationship.
