At the height of the dance craze, she served as a label manager at BCM Records. Dina Carroll, Carleen Anderson, Juan Atkins, Zero 7, Basement Jaxx, and Air are among the notable talents she managed. She also worked with the renowned DJ, the late Andrew Weatherall.

Aside from musicians, Rothwell helped nurture songwriters like Rob Davis and Eg White. Davis wrote Kylie Minogue’s “Can’t Get You Out of My Head.” Meanwhile, White is noteworthy for writing Adele’s hit song “Chasing Pavements.”
