In Love You Teacher episode 2, which aired on March 21, Solar wakes up with no memory of being Sun, but his condition continues as he switches back into 7-year-old Sun, causing chaos at school. After Principal Sodchuen and Teacher Jee find out, Pobmek—who struggles to ask for help—finally reaches out to them.

Love You Teacher Episode 2 Recap: Solar Has No Memory of Being Sun
Solar feels confused and in disbelief after Pobmek tells him he acted like a 7-year-old named Sun, as he cannot remember anything from the day after the accident. After waking up, he simply goes back to his usual routine.
Even though Pobmek tells him to rest and offers to handle his classes, Solar still chooses to go to school and teach, sneaking in quietly. Acting Principal Sodchuen notices him and says, “Solar really wouldn’t give up teaching,” while Jee points out how responsible he is. Meanwhile, Pobmek can no longer stop him and lets him be, thinking Sun would not come out again.
Before they part ways, Pobmek sees Jee working on a “student safeguarding log,” which tracks teachers’ behavior and well-being. Jee explains that a teacher from the main campus once showed sudden mood changes and was later diagnosed with a mental condition, raising concerns about similar situations. However, the teacher was eventually taken care of, and Pobmek assumes they were fired.
The Magic Word Pobmek Uses for Help
Pobmek asks why Sodchuen assigned Jee, and Jee casually says she always praises him—something that reminds Pobmek of how his mother constantly compared him to Jee while growing up. This brings him back to his student days with Solar, when his mother once downplayed teaching as an easy job while Solar sat right across from him. Pobmek thinks Solar heard it and feels bad, but Solar is actually celebrating his straight A grades, which makes Pobmek more insecure about his own.
Sensing Pobmek’s discomfort, Solar shares a concept from child psychology of using a magic word or phrase that someone can use when they need help but struggle to say it directly.
Later in the episode, this concept comes back when Pobmek, as a student, gets sick from overworking himself and collapses. As Solar takes care of him, he reminds Pobmek that he doesn’t have to handle everything alone and can just use a magic word. Pobmek then uses “sponge bath” as his magic word to ask for help, and Solar promises he will always be there for him.

Solar Turns into Sun at School in Love You Teacher Episode 2
During school hours, Solar falls asleep, and when he wakes up, he turns back into Sun. Pobmek offers to take him home, but Sun runs off around the school, wanting to see his mother, which causes chaos again. He struggles to find Sun, but he eventually calms Sun down with his favorite lollipop and promises to take him to see his mother later. Pobmek then feels unwell after running around while looking for him.
Meanwhile, Pobmek notices Solar’s busy class schedule and decides to challenge Sun in teaching, as Sun looks down on him and questions who does it better. Sun initially looks down on his teaching. To manage the class, Pobmek instructs the students to answer worksheets and warns them not to leave their seats, while he stays beside Sun.
However, Sun stubbornly introduces himself as “Sun” instead of Teacher Solar. Pobmek quickly tells the class that Teacher Solar will use Sun for today’s lesson, which sparks confusion as students begin asking to change their names, creating more chaos.
After things settle in Sun’s class, Pobmek checks his own class and finds it in disarray, with students playing and moving around their seats. Soon after, he hears chaos again from Sun’s class, where Sun is now excitedly playing with racing car toys with the students.
Pobmek Finally Asks for Help in Love You Teacher Episode 2
During the classroom chaos, Principal Sodchuen and Jee arrive and immediately ask what happened. The students point to Sun, blaming him for the disorder.
Later, Sodchuen and Jee speak with Pobmek, noticing that Solar has been acting strange and childlike. Pobmek insists he’s fine, but Sodchuen can see he’s unwell. When Pobmek still avoids explaining, Sodchuen reminds him they cannot help without knowing the situation. At that point, Pobmek finally says his magic word, “sponge bath,” asking the two for help.
Pobmek then explains that Solar’s mind reverts to a 7-year-old version of himself due to the accident. He admits he kept it a secret, fearing the school would report it and fire him, just like what happened to that teacher. He also mentions that Solar loves being a teacher and worries about losing that. However, his words are interrupted by Jee, who continues documenting in his “student safeguarding log.” Sodchuen then clarifies that the school’s goal is to support teachers and help them improve, not to fire them.
Principal Sodchuen also reassures Pobmek that they will help Solar recover, similar to how they supported a teacher from the main campus before. She also checks on Pobmek, acknowledging that he struggles with handling kids and now has to deal with Sun.
Jee responds that, since they can all handle 7-year-old kids, they should be able to manage the situation together. In the end, everyone agrees to support Solar. They inform the other teachers, as well as Solar’s mother and students. When Sun finally speaks with his mother, she reassures him that Pobmek is good and trustworthy. She also reminds Sun to behave, easing his worries.

Pobmek Realizes He’s Not Alone Amid Solar’s Condition
Later that night, Sun falls asleep, and Jee comments that he is easier to handle than their students. However, Pobmek insists that Sun is probably the most chaotic in school. Then, Sodchuen shows Sun’s drawing, where he apologizes for making Pobmek sick by behaving badly, which softens Pobmek and makes him smile. Jee also notices that Sun no longer calls Pobmek a kidnapper.
After that, Pobmek admits he used to dislike Jee because his mother always compared him to him. In response, Jee opens up about his OCD and says he is not as perfect as he seems. He also expresses his desire to be friends, and Pobmek reassures him that they already are.
The next day, Solar wakes up as himself again, which helps Pobmek realize that Solar switches between Solar and Sun whenever he sleeps. When Solar learns about it, he comforts Pobmek and reminds him not to push himself too much. Pobmek says he will, which prompts Solar to show his affection, not knowing that Sodchuen and Jee are watching them.
Upon seeing that Pobmek has finally asked for help from others, Solar becomes even more delighted, knowing how difficult it is for him. He kisses Pobmek again, ignoring the two watching them.
The episode ends with Pobmek narrating,
Even though it seemed tough at first, because it was a challenge I’d never faced before and I chose to carry it all by myself, now that I’ve finally gathered the courage to ask for help, everything feels a lot lighter. It makes me realize I’m not going through this alone anymore.

Love You Teacher episode 3 teases that whenever Solar wakes up as Sun, chaos quickly follows, pushing Pobmek to admit, “I’m tired of Sun!” Meanwhile, Jee steps in and presents a plan to bring Solar back—by keeping him as Solar for as long as possible and getting Sun to sleep early.
