News

Adult Leisure return with the new single “The Light You Attract” while expanding their momentum with upcoming showcase performances.

Adult Leisure return with their new single “The Light You Attract,” arriving on March 13, 2026. It offers a stark look at the pull of destructive relationships.

The release follows their 2025 debut album The Things You Don’t Know Yet, which has already surpassed 800,000 streams and introduced the band to a wider audience. The record also featured collaborations with John Waugh and earned support from outlets such as BBC Radio 6 Music’s Indie Forever show, The Line of Best Fit, Pop Journal, and Fresh on the Net.

Meanwhile, the album’s single “Borderline” gained national exposure after appearing in an episode of the TV series Made in Chelsea on E4. For the new track, the band worked again with producer Ollie Searle at Humm Studios, while mastering engineer John Webber—known for work with David Bowie and Duran Duran—handled the final polish.

As a result, “The Light You Attract” blends tension with restraint. The song explores the uneasy cycle of attraction and distrust, where emotional conflict turns into reflection. Through sharp lyrics and atmospheric production, the band captures the moment when admiration shifts into discomfort and clarity.

Festival Debuts and a First U.S. Showcase

Looking ahead, Adult Leisure will bring their music to the United States for the first time. The band will perform at New Colossus Festival in New York City and appear as an official act at South by Southwest in Austin.

These showcases mark an important step as the group expands beyond the UK scene. With “The Light You Attract,” Adult Leisure not only examine the dynamics of toxic connections but also push their sound into bolder emotional territory.
