The Woggles kick off 2026 with their new single “Love Tick” and announce their upcoming B-sides and rarities collection Stop and Take A Minute.
The Woggles kick off 2026 with the release of their new digital single “Love Tick” and the pre-order launch for their upcoming collection Stop and Take A Minute. The album, set for release on May 8 via Wicked Cool Records, gathers a curated selection of B-sides and rarities that span the band’s long-running career.
Written by frontman “The Professor” Mighty Manfred and guitarist Peter Greenberg (Barrence Whitfield & The Savages, The Lyres, DMZ), “Love Tick” delivers a high-voltage dose of the band’s signature rock ’n’ soul swagger, born from a creative partnership that flourished during the pandemic.
Our bands touring together in the past built a friendship that led to us writing songs during the pandemic. Love Tick’ tells the story of Manfred’s attraction to ladies worldwide.

Vaults Open: Stop and Take A Minute
While “Love Tick” bursts with fresh energy, Stop and Take A Minute dives into The Woggles’ vault to showcase overlooked gems, rare tracks, and fan favorites, capturing the raw power and groove that have defined their more than three-decade career.

Anchored by a twin-guitar attack from Graham Day (The Prisoners, Solar Flares, Thee Mighty Caesars) and Shane Pringle (Tiger! Tiger!, Bad Spell), with Pringle adding saxophone, and propelled by Buzz Hagstrom (bass) and Dan Elektro (drums), the band fuses early rock ’n’ roll, R&B, ’60s garage, soul, and British Invasion influences into a singular, hard-hitting sound.
The single and album arrive as The Woggles, alongside Barrence Whitfield & The Savages, prepare to perform on the Underground Garage Cruise (April 3–7), proving once again that their longevity in rock ’n’ roll comes from turning it up, pushing forward, and keeping the energy alive.
The Woggles Upcoming Shows
