Eun-ho Tells Woo-seok to Kill Her in No Tail to Tell

No Tail to Tell episode 12 opens with a tearful Eun-ho rushing Si-yeol to the hospital, where the doctor warns her to prepare for the worst. Meanwhile, Woo-seok sees the news that Si-yeol has been shot and rushes to the hospital, only to find Eun-ho there.

She quickly realizes she holds the key to fixing everything and leads Woo-seok to Namsan Fortress—the site of her first date with Si-yeol and the place he stabbed her in her dream.

At the fortress, Eun-ho instructs Woo-seok to kill her with the Sajin Ritual Blade, knowing that her death will undo all her manipulations and save Si-yeol. She faces the decision without regret, ready to give her life for him.

As Woo-seok stabs her, the timeline resets: Si-yeol and Woo-seok’s fates switch back, fulfilling the dream where Si-yeol stabs Eun-ho. Before she disappears, she confesses her love and makes her final request—that Si-yeol forget her and move forward. Even as he is left devastated by her absence.

Geum-ho 2.0’s Transformation and Eun-ho’s Resurrection

A flashback reveals the deal between Woo-seok and Eun-ho. He gives her his black card, and she entrusts him with Geum-ho 2.0’s fox bead in an untraceable box. He doubts her trust in humans, but she reasons that circumstances, not character, shape people’s lives.

When Woo-seok stabs her, the fox bead channels her selfless act of sacrifice for Si-yeol, powering Geum-ho 2.0 into a nine-tailed fox. Using her newfound power, she heals Si-yeol’s brain cancer. A feat that drains her greatly and takes ten years to recover.

Meanwhile, Eun-ho arrives at the River of Three Crossings, where the dead traditionally forget their life before entering the afterlife. Her grief over Si-yeol anchors her.

She refuses the Ferryman’s drink, remaining in torment until Pagun intervenes nine years later. Trusting her judgment, Pagun resurrects her as a nine-tailed fox, despite the Ferryman warning of the burden she carries.

The Ripple Effect of Eun-ho’s Actions

One year after her death, Geum-ho 2.0 integrates into society. Si-yeol elevates Thames FC back to the first division, and those previously harmed by Eun-ho’s meddling, including Chairman Hwang and Go Bong-chang’s family, thrive.

Do-cheol returns but is defeated by Geum-ho 2.0, while Yoon lands himself in prison. Nine more years pass, and Si-yeol checks on Woo-seok, who now runs a sports bar, confirming that the hit-and-run never occurred.

Eun-ho chooses to remain distant from Si-yeol, watching over him quietly to avoid disrupting his life while he mourns her. Their eventual reunion is heartfelt, filled with relief, mixed emotions, and confessions, as Si-yeol accepts the inevitability of mortality but cherishes their shared memories.

The two resume their relationship, going on dates and planning a future together. Eun-ho even builds a home for them on her island, signaling a peaceful life ahead where their love and adventures continue, grounded in the lessons of fate, sacrifice, and devotion.
