Yesterday Episode 4 Recap: Kelvin Confronts Khun and Vier in the Basement
Kelvin brings Khun to the basement and confronts him. He suspects Khun used bribery and wants the truth about whether Khun and Vier actually slept together. Khun denies it, while Vier stays silent. Then Kelvin pressures Vier, asking if Khun also bribed him. Instead, Khun challenges Vier to tell Kelvin who really manipulated whom.
Kelvin threatens Khun and even asks Vier if he should just finish him and give Vier Khun’s shares as compensation. However, Vier only laughs and points out that Kelvin is doing the same thing to Khun that he once did to him. He tells Kelvin, “Turns out, you’re so much worse than I expected.”

Vier then reveals that Khun has already canceled their contract. Still, he admits Khun deserves some of the consequences, saying, “You’ve hurt a lot of people. Getting a taste of your own medicine isn’t bad.”
In the end, Kelvin lets Khun go and orders him to leave. Meanwhile, Vier reflects silently: “Love turned into a trap. A friend became an enemy. And trust turned into a weapon aimed back at me.”
One Year Ago: Kelvin Seizes Control of KING Group
A year earlier, Lalit discovers the secret cameras that Kelvin secretly planted all over Vier’s apartment. Meanwhile, KING Group begins to struggle. Their shares drop, and the contract Ken signed causes serious cash flow problems. Because of this, the company can no longer easily buy back shares.
As the situation worsens, the board loses trust in Ken. Eventually, together with Mr. Khatha, they remove him from the board.
Later, Kelvin confronts Mr. Khatha with a shocking reveal. He announces that he now owns 50% of the company’s shares and has the full support of the board of directors. As a result, Mr. Khatha is no longer the largest shareholder of KING Group.
Kelvin then declares that Mr. Khatha is no longer the CEO of KING Group, effectively taking control of the company.

Lalit Confronts Kelvin in Yesterday Episode 4
Lalit begins to suspect that Kelvin is only using Vier. He asks Vier what he would do if Kelvin never truly loved him. However, Vier refuses to believe it. He says that even if he and Kelvin end up getting married someday, Lalit will still remain his best friend, and he insists that Kelvin would never betray him.
Soon after, Lalit confronts Kelvin directly. He accuses him of getting Vier’s personal information from New, the man who betrayed VPG Group and later built W Group using the resources he took from it. Because of this, Lalit realizes that Kelvin had been secretly watching Vier long before they even met.
Then Lalit exposes Kelvin’s real plan. Once Kelvin saw that Vier was kind and sympathetic, he decided to manipulate him. He used Vier’s feelings to help regain control of KING Group.
Lalit also reveals another crime. After hacking the cameras Kelvin planted all over Vier’s apartment, he discovers files showing Kelvin spying on him. He tells Kelvin, “Not only did you exploit Vier’s love for your own gain, but you also helped New destroy VPG Group.”
However, Kelvin shows no remorse. He calls it business and says love cannot protect anyone. “In the end, the weak will be devoured,” he says, insisting he only did it to survive. He adds that Vier’s love makes him vulnerable and that vulnerability is his weakness.
Lalit demands that Kelvin tell Vier the truth immediately. But Kelvin refuses, saying he has come too far to stop. When Lalit threatens to reveal everything to Vier himself, Kelvin silences him—killing him with a single strike.
Vier Was Kidnapped in Yesterday Episode 4
Vier surprises Kelvin to celebrate regaining control of KING Group. Kelvin thanks him, saying he wouldn’t have achieved any of it without Vier. They promise to be together forever, with Vier vowing never to leave him.
Soon after, Kelvin decides to sign a partnership contract with W Group. In the middle of the signing, he learns that Vier has been kidnapped and is being held hostage to force him to step down from KING Group. Despite Vier being beaten, Kelvin continues signing the contract first.
After five hours, the kidnappers show Vier recordings from the cameras Kelvin secretly planted in his house. They reveal that Kelvin had been secretly working with his family’s enemy, New. Vier realizes that everything Kelvin did was a manipulation: “He pretended to be weak, played the victim, and tricked me into believing him and loving him. And in the end, he got what he wanted. What we had was never real. It was all fake.”

Present Time: Vier Negotiates with Kelvin to Remove His Chains
Back in the present, Kelvin convinces Vier that he is the only one who can help him and his family with VPG Group’s current problems. He tells Vier that their only way out is through him, and that all he wants is for Vier to be with him. He even promises to give half of KING Group’s shares back to VPG Group.
Vier tries to turn the tables by manipulating Kelvin into giving him some freedom. He convinces Kelvin to remove his chains and asks to be allowed to see his parents sometimes. Kelvin eventually agrees—but only with Chao, his secretary, watching over him.
Vier then takes Chao to his secret bar, gets him drunk, and puts him to sleep. However, before Vier can leave, Kelvin is chained again in the basement. Vier taunts him, saying he is no different from every other man who came and went, and declares, “You no longer matter to me,” which instantly makes Kelvin mad.
