Dare You To Death Episode 9 Recap: Jade and Kamin Follow the Drug Trail Near Tonkla’s Dorm

Kamin gets suspended, leaving Jade to handle the case alone, but he promises to return as Jade’s superior. Soon after, Jade goes with Kamin to where Seon Jae gets his drugs, near Tonkla’s dorm, believing the answers about Seon Jae and the killer are hidden there.

There, a woman explains that the unit was rented as a storage space under the name Mr. Yotsapon. She also mentions that cars regularly stop by to drop off items. After breaking into the room, Jade and Kamin discover that the hospital where Dr. Puth works has been smuggling chemical substances out and exchanging them at that location.

They also go to Tonkla’s dorm, where Kamin spots a hidden camera behind the clock.

Suspicions Lead to Dr. Puth

At the hospital, Jade and Kamin learn that Dr. Puth, the forensic doctor who handled Puifai’s body, has resigned and that Puifai’s body is missing. Dr. Tankhun then reveals that Puifai had a history of depression and that Dr. Puth was once listed as her attending physician, even though it was not his shift at the time. Soon after, Jade and Kamin discover that Dr. Puth is actually Mr. Yotsapon—the tenant of the storage unit they had investigated earlier.

Next, they search Dr. Puth’s office and find a photo of him and Puifai on his desk, hinting that they may have been dating. This discovery raises suspicion that he might be the culprit. They then uncover a notebook detailing how the Avengers’ students were killed, along with records of the victims’ own crimes against their peers, cementing him as the prime suspect. As suspicion deepens, they also learn that Dr. Puth manages the hospital’s chemical stocks. The smuggling of these substances further connects him to the drugs Seon Jae used.

Meanwhile, Dr. Puth visits Jay and tells him that he is finally free to go home. However, as Jay leaves, he notices Truth or Dare cards on his bed. Later, the investigation team finds another hidden camera inside Bell’s doll, identical to the one found in Tonkla’s clock. This explains how the killer knew the names chosen on the dare cards—and how he has always been one step ahead of the police.

The Killer and His Accomplice Revealed

When Kamin goes to check on Jay, he finds that Jay is nowhere to be seen, and the police officer guarding him is unconscious. Meanwhile, the Truth-or-Dare cards lead Jay to a house where videos of the previous victims are displayed. The killer then appears, asks Jay to choose between truth or dare, and removes his mask—revealing Dr. Puth. Beside him, Champ and Cherreen are shown sitting unconscious.

Dr. Puth forces Jay to choose who to save, but Jay refuses, saying, “I’m not choosing anyone to die.” This angers Puth, who then calls for his girlfriend. At that moment, Puifai appears—alive and well.

At the same time, Kamin’s phone suddenly dies while he is on a call with Jade as he heads toward Jay’s location. Realizing that Kamin has gone to the scene alone, Jade becomes worried and prepares to follow him. However, just before he leaves, a subordinate reports that hydrofluoric substances were found in Dr. Puth’s warehouse. The black powder can ignite when exposed to oxygen, suggesting that Puth may have planned to burn the house down or cause an explosion.
