Atarayo continues to rise in J-pop with their emotionally rich new single “Spring Is Coming (春となり),” blending heartfelt storytelling, evocative melodies, and a music video that captures young love.
Spring has arrived, and Atarayo has captured it in song. Their latest single, “Spring Is Coming (春となり),” serves as an insert track for the nationwide theatrical release of The Dangers in My Heart (僕の心のヤバイやつ). The medium-tempo ballad weaves rich storytelling with evocative melodies.
On one level, it celebrates the literal arrival of spring. On another, it reflects on winter as the “season beside spring,” symbolizing the gradual closing of distance between two hearts. Through expressive lyrics and subtle shifts in melody, the song unfolds with quiet intensity and warmth.

The accompanying music video enhances the song’s emotional resonance. It follows the passage of time from Valentine’s Day to White Day, capturing tender glances, unspoken words, and a single tear as symbols of young love. Every frame emphasizes the delicate tension between two people on the verge of confession, making the story feel intimate and relatable.
The MV portrays a White Day when the two have not fully expressed their feelings. I reflected on their relationship in the girl’s tears. I hope viewers enjoy imagining the emotions and stories behind each moment,” Director Udo shared.
This release marks Atarayo’s second collaboration with The Dangers in My Heart, following the January 2024 anime Season 2 opening theme “(I Am…)『僕は…』.” Since 2024, the band has accelerated their rise both in Japan and abroad.
Their second Asia tour, 「夢語り Yume-gatari」TOUR 2025, covered nine cities in China and five in Japan, with multiple sold-out shows. These achievements reinforce Atarayo’s position as one of contemporary J-pop’s most compelling forces.
