Undercover Miss Hong episode 8 aired on February 8 via Netflix. This episode, titled Money Monster, features the long-awaited meeting between Keum-bo and Yehppee. A new fund is introduced at Hanmin, and Yehppee refuses to help Keum-bo due to their differences.

Keum-bo Uncovers Yehppee’s Identity in Undercover Miss Hong Episode 8

First, Keum-Bo tests the three men she suspects by tampering with their keyboards and sending an email to Yehppee. Soon after, she confirms that Yehppee is actually her own boss, Bang Jin-mok.

She immediately asks to work with him, but he hesitates and says he needs time to decide. Meanwhile, Bang meets with Myeong-hwee and tells him to find a new lackey, which shows he has been involved in the Yehppee scheme for a long time.

Then in Undercover Miss Hong episode 8, Keum-bo reveals that they met nine years ago, when she lost her job, and she blames him for the events that led her former boss to take his own life.

Bok-hee Gets Closer to the Truth

At the same time, Bok-hee visits Keum-bo’s parents to learn more about her past. Although her parents try to hide the truth, Bok-Hee discovers that Keum-bo studied at Seoul University.

Because of this, Bok-hee starts to suspect that Jang-mi is not who she claims to be. In addition, she realizes that Keum-bo works for the Financial Supervisory Service.

As a result, Bok-hee moves one step closer to uncovering Keum-bo’s real identity in Undercover Miss Hong episode 8.

Jung-woo Confronts Jae-bom in Undercover Miss Hong Episode 8

Jung-woo meets Jae-bom and immediately shows that he knows Keum-bo’s entire mission. He warns Jae-bom that witches either end up burned at the stake or dead, which annoys Jae-bom because Jung-woo has acted this way even nine years ago.

Then, Jung-woo presses further, asking why Jae-bom would send Keum-bo on such a dangerous task. He clearly knows more than he should, including the true identity of Yehppee.

Keum-bo Was Assaulted by Bok-hee’s Brother

Keum-bo faces danger in Undercover Miss Hong episode 8 when Bok-hee’s brother assaults her, leaving her with a visible bruise that Bom quickly notices. Fortunately, Jung-woo steps in to protect her and asks Ju-ran to strengthen security at the office, which raises her suspicions.

Meanwhile, Jae-beom warns Bok-hee that Bang is clearly lying about not having a copy of the ledger and even predicts upcoming events in the country.

At the same time, Keum-bo’s parents struggle financially and are too embarrassed to ask for her help. Her father quietly invests in the New Korea Fund, only for the market to crash the next day, echoing the IMF crisis of 1997, which caused widespread unemployment and debt.

As Hanmin prepares company documents for bailout analysis, Jin-mok and Keum-bo clash. Keum-bo gathers the documents herself, creates her own folder, and hands it to Jung-woo, who delivers it despite knowing her interference could put Hanmin at risk.

Pil-beom is shocked by Hanmin’s failure, and Jin-mok warns Keum-bo that her actions may cost many jobs. Meanwhile, Min-sook faces backlash from clients, and Keum-bo’s father returns home dejected, unable to recover his investment, leaving the family in turmoil in Undercover Miss Hong episode 8.

Undercover Miss Hong episode 8 ramps up the tension as Keum-bo faces danger from Bok-hee’s brother and navigates office politics, showing her courage and resourcefulness. The episode balances personal stakes with the looming financial crisis, highlighting both her family’s struggles and the broader consequences of Hanmin’s decisions. Jung-woo’s involvement adds suspense, leaving viewers unsure of his true intentions.

Meanwhile, the episode deepens the series’ intrigue with corporate manipulation, betrayals, and moral dilemmas, keeping the stakes high. Keum-bo’s determination to act despite the risks reinforces her role as a strong and clever protagonist. The mix of action, suspense, and personal drama makes this episode both gripping and emotionally engaging.
