Directed by Grace Pomilla, the video brings this idea to life by blending intimate live performance footage with personal childhood home videos.

Filmed at Purgatory in Bushwick, the shoot features Anaïs’ full band alongside close friends, reinforcing the theme of chosen family. The result feels nostalgic, slightly bittersweet, and dreamlike.

At the same time, Anaïs & The Hoops continues to carve out a distinct space in indie music by pairing jazz-leaning vocals with reflective lyrics, pop-forward hooks, and a retro aesthetic.

Originally from San Diego and now based in Brooklyn, Anaïs began performing early and spent years singing in jazz clubs before shaping her own sound. She released her debut EP, Growing Pains, in September 2025, earning early support from NPR Music, Ones To Watch, and WFUV.

Anaïs & The Hoops invites listeners to step into the world of “Growing Pains” through its newly released music video. The visual pairs raw live moments with nostalgic home footage, capturing the beauty of friendship and growing up.

Each scene moves with warmth, emotion, and quiet reflection. Watch the music video now and experience the story unfold.
