Filled with the music that’s most true to BTS, the album is their heartfelt way of saying thank you to ARMY, who have been there this whole time.

All members are said to have played an active role in crafting the 14-track album, aiming to stay true to themselves and share their honest stories with ARMYs. This record marks their return as a full group after completing their mandatory military service in 2025.

BTS Arirang - New Album

Both BTS and BIGHIT MUSIC are keeping many of the album’s details secret. Aside from the number of tracks, everything else is unknown; even the artwork for the albums is shown as blank canvases. However, on the same day as the start of pre-orders, they slightly answered everyone’s curiosity by confirming the album title: ARIRANG.

“Arirang” holds a profound importance to Korea and its citizens. Alongside being a well-loved traditional folk song, the word itself reflects centuries of history, cultural heritage, and identity. With a title that possesses such meaning, their comeback album will certainly be one of their most reflective works to date.

The said event will feature them performing their new songs at one of Korea’s historic sites. Not only is it free, but it will also be streamed live for global fans on Netflix.

Although no details have been finalized, BIGHIT MUSIC also plans to expand the project globally. The news has us wondering whether it’ll be included at some lucky tour stops.
