Me and Thee Episode 8 Recap: Thee and Mok’s talk on love

Thee finds Mok drinking alone, thinking about Rome, and decides to keep him company. During their talk, Mok congratulates Thee on his relationship with Peach. However, Thee says it’s not over yet and confesses, “I know now why love is dangerous for us. I was never afraid of dying until I fell in love with Peach,” referring to their rule about not falling in love.

Mok says that as a bodyguard, they were taught to treat death as something always nearby, implying that he should stay away from love. Still, Thee reminds him that he’s not just a bodyguard but also a friend and says he wants Mok to be happy too.

Mok responds that, in the end, his duty is still to take the bullet for his friend. However, Thee assures him that as long as ARSENI remains under his supervision, no one will die.

Tawan and Aran will work together again

During lunch, Thee tells Peach that he wants their relationship to be known to everyone. Peach says he doesn’t mind people finding out but only cares about his sister, Lookplub, who probably wouldn’t believe her brother is dating her boss. He wants to tell her himself. Thee reassures him that he’ll try to talk to her as well and adds, “Whatever you’re carrying, put it down and let me help you carry it.”

Thee then asks Peach’s opinion about Tawan joining as another model for the Spring Collection. Peach says he has no personal issues and will keep things professional, noting that Aran also prefers not to mix work with personal matters. He admits he’s more worried about the trouble Tawan might cause again. Thee notices that Peach is worrying about others once more, and Peach says it’s because he already has Thee looking out for him.

Later, Thee warns Peach about Touch from the Shohei family, whom Peach will work with outside ARSENI. He explains that Touch is also part of the mafia. Thee adds that his people guard Peach from a distance while still letting him live normally. Peach accepts this, knowing it comes with being close to Thee. When Thee asks if he’s scared, Peach says he trusts that Thee won’t let anything happen to him.

Tawan punches Peach out of jealousy

At ARSENI, Thee flirts with Peach in the restroom, unaware that Note is in a cubicle nearby and overhears both saying “I love you” to each other. Meanwhile, Aran and Tawan are having a fitting shoot. While on standby, Tawan admits he accepted the work to get closer to Aran and asks for another chance, but Aran tells him he’s no longer in love with him.

Later, during Aran’s solo shots, his eyes start hurting, and Peach helps him. Tawan, still convinced that Peach and Aran have romantic feelings for each other, punches Peach upon seeing them so close. Just as Tawan is about to strike again, the lights go out. When they come back on, Thee appears, furious that Peach has been hurt again, while Tawan has disappeared.

That night, Tawan talks to Aran, claiming he acted that way out of love for him. Aran, angered by Tawan’s jealousy and violence toward Peach, tells him that Peach is just his big brother—for the last time. When Tawan still refuses to believe, Aran slaps him and says, “The one I love has always been you, Tawan, but because of what you did, I can finally stop loving you,” and asks him to leave completely and stop bothering him.

Plub finds out about Thee and Peach’s relationship in Me and Thee episode 8

Thee treats Peach’s bruise in his office. Meanwhile, downstairs, Plub discovers that her brother is hurt. Note tells her that he overheard the two flirting earlier. Plub storms into the office and sees Peach with Thee. After work, Peach confirms his relationship with Thee to Lookplub. Thee speaks to her alone, where she says that Thee is scary. Thee explains that his frightening image is just a story people believe and that he isn’t like that.

Plub cries, saying, “But I only have one brother. I mean, Peach is the only one I have.” She worries that Peach might love Thee more than her and admits she’s more scared of that than of Thee’s scary image. Hearing this, Thee reassures her, saying he’ll be another big brother and points out that they have something in common—they both love Peach.

Plub insists that it’s not the same and says she loves Peach more. Thee then suggests that they work together as a team. Their mission is to make Peach happy for the rest of his life. Plub agrees. From a distance, Peach watches them and smiles as the two seal their deal.

Peach calls Thee “Kian” in Me and Thee episode 8

The next night, there’s a power outage at Peach’s house, so he stays at Thee’s place. When he arrives, he notices a family photo and realizes that the famous actress is Thee’s mother. Curious, Peach asks if that’s why Thee likes watching soap operas. Thee says it helps him feel close to his mother. Peach then asks if Thee ever feels lonely. Thee admits that he used to, but not anymore now that Peach is with him.

Later, Peach helps Thee bathe and notices that even Thee’s shampoo bottles have his name engraved on them. Thee explains that a relative’s soap was once poisoned. Because of that, all his belongings must be checked for safety and marked with his name.

While helping him, Peach notices Thee’s scars, and Thee explains how he got them and reassures him that he’s fine. Peach responds, “You said you wouldn’t allow me to be wounded or hurt again. The same goes for you.” Thee can’t promise it but says that, no matter what happens, they’ll face it together.

Thee then asks Peach to call him Kian, a name only his family uses. Peach says, “Peach loves Kian,” and Thee becomes obsessed, making Peach call him that in different situations to get him used to it. Meanwhile, Mok receives a message from Thee’s father about finding out about Peach.
