Typhoon’s father discovered that he had reconnected with Tonfah. This discovery caused him to face a difficult decision involving both of them in Beside the Sky episode 2.
In Beside the Sky episode 2, which aired on December 27, 2025, via WeTV, the story centers on Typhoon taking a difficult path—away from Fah. Because of his father, he had to disconnect himself from Fah. He needed Tonfah to hate him to make things easier, even if it meant hurting himself with that decision.

Fah Talked to Phoon’s Father in Beside the Sky Episode 1
Beside the Sky episode 1 picks up from the previous episode where Fah and Phoon were alternately asking questions. Later, the two drove home. While on the road, someone knocked on Fah’s window. The man removed his helmet, and it turned out to be Johan—Fah’s friend. Fah introduced Phoon to him before Johan drove away.
Out of curiosity, Phoon asked about Fah’s friends, including Johan. Fah asked if Phoon was interested in Johan, then said that he would not recommend Johan to him at all—maybe second to the last, because Arthit was the one he would never recommend. Fah added that he wanted Phoon to meet Hill the most.
Phoon asked why Fah wanted to introduce someone to him. Fah said that he wanted someone to take care of Phoon, someone he could trust. Later, Fah and Phoon arrived at Fah’s dorm and saw that the lights went out again. Fah asked Phoon if he wanted to stay over at his room again.
Soon after, the two arrived inside. Fah said that he was worried about Phoon’s dorm situation and offered to look for another place for him. Phoon said that his father might not agree. Fah then asked for his father’s number so he could personally ask for permission.
Later, Fah called Phoon’s father. After a short while, Phoon’s father asked Fah if Phoon had mentioned Torfun. Fah said yes and said that Fun was doing okay. After the call, Fah went back to Phoon and told him that his father agreed to move him to another dorm.
Phoon’s Father Called Him Over
Elsewhere in Beside the Sky episode 2, Phoon was escorted by his father’s assistant, who drove him to where his father was staying. On the way, the assistant told Phoon that he must understand his father and praised him for always obeying.
When Typhoon arrived, he saw his father drinking on the sofa. His father asked if he already knew that Tonfah was studying at the same university. Phoon said yes but said that he did not expect to run into Fah so soon. His father asked what Phoon had told Fah, and Phoon said that he told him nothing.
His father raised his voice and asked Phoon what more he wanted. He asked if killing his daughter, Fun, was not enough. Phoon’s father reminded Phoon that he had already warned him never to associate with Fah again. He asked if Phoon told Fah that he was the reason Fun died.
Phoon said that he was not the one who killed Fun—at least, he did not mean to. His father then asked who was at fault and blamed Phoon for everything that happened to their family. His wife divorced him, and his daughter died.
Remember this—no one wants you. I never even wanted you to be born. Do you know your mother abandoned you when you were little? If it weren’t for Torfun’s mother, you wouldn’t even be standing here. Look at how you repaid us. You killed our child.
He told Phoon that no one wanted him except Fun and Fah.

Phoon Was Told to Stay Away From Fah
In the heat of their conversation, Phoon asked if he could just stay with Fah. He promised not to tell Fah anything. His father said that if Phoon told Fah, Fah would abandon him anyway. He then ordered Phoon to withdraw from the university within the week.
Phoon cried and asked where he would go since his father had already sold their house in Phuket. His father said that he could go anywhere—as long as it was far from Tonfah’s family. He would give Phoon money to stay away from them.
Elsewhere in Beside the Sky episode 2, his father told Phoon never to let him see his face again. Phoon dropped to his knees and begged him not to abandon him. He apologized and said that everything was his fault. Phoon said that he never wanted to be born and promised to stay quiet—just as long as his father would not abandon him.
After the confrontation, Phoon returned to his dorm and called Fah. He asked if Fah was free and asked him to take him anywhere. He said that it could be any place, as long as he was with Fah.
Typhoon’s Past and Torfun’s Death in Beside the Sky Episode 2
In a flashback, Phoon sat on the floor while Fun tried to console him. Their father once again lashed out at him for failing an exam. Fun said that it was okay and that he could retake it. This made Phoon snap and tell Fun to stop saying that. He said that she would never understand him because everyone loved her. As for him, he was just bad luck and no one wanted him.
Phoon stormed out of the house. Fun followed him, but Phoon told her to leave him alone. Later, Phoon was in a club, smoking and drinking. He answered Fun’s call and told her to stop bothering him. Fun asked him to go home, but Phoon refused.
Phoon later got into a fight. Barely conscious, he answered Fun’s call again. Over the phone, he heard the sound of a car crash. After that, Fun died. At the funeral, people talked about how unfortunate her death was—how she was a top student and a good child. They also talked about Phoon, calling him a disgrace and blaming him for Fun’s death.
Elsewhere in Beside the Sky episode 2, Phoon was blamed by Fun’s mother. He heard his father and Fun’s mother argue because of him. They called Phoon an illegitimate child and blamed him for their daughter’s death. This eventually led to their divorce.
In his room, Phoon cried nonstop until Fun appeared. Fun told him that it was not his fault and that she was not angry with him. Phoon said that he wanted to stop everything and just be with her.
Don’t hurt the person I love. You have to take care of yourself. Eat good food. Go to good places. Tell yourself that you love yourself often. Can you promise me? Live for me.
Fah Helped Phoon in His New Place in Beside the Sky Episode 2
Later, Phoon and Fah went to Phoon’s new dorm. Fah helped him move his things from his old room. Fah asked if Fun was busy since she was not replying. After a while, Phoon called Fah’s name and told him that he would be taking the medical exam.
Phoon asked Fah if he could tutor him. Fah agreed but asked Phoon not to quit halfway. He said that some students tend to quit and leave the tutor hurt as well. He asked Phoon if he could endure until the exam, and Phoon agreed.
Soon after, Fah bid Phoon goodbye since he had an errand to attend to. Later that night, Fah noticed that it was raining and called Phoon to check on him, worrying that the lights might go out again.

The Tutoring Session of Fah and Phoon in Beside the Sky Episode 2
Fah and Phoon started their tutoring session at a café. During the session, Phoon commented that the sky looked beautiful. Fah noticed Phoon smiling at the sky and said that smiling suited him and that he should smile more often.
Phoon struggled with a question, so Fah sat beside him and explained the terms. Phoon got distracted and stared at Fah instead, prompting Fah to warn him that he would not let him go home unless he finished the workbook.
After their session, they went outside, where Phoon took several photos—many of them of Fah. Phoon said that he wanted proof of their moments together and that photos were the clearest way.
Later that night, Phoon’s father called again to remind him that his time with Fah was over. Phoon cried hard that night, thinking about not being with Fah anymore. The next day, Fah waited for Phoon in the same spot—but Phoon never showed up. He stood nearby, watching Fah, before turning away.
Phoon Started to Distance Himself From Fah
Fah tried to contact Phoon and asked why he did not show up. Phoon said that he was not free. When Fah asked when he would be, Phoon replied that he was not free anymore.
The next morning, Fah went to Phoon’s dorm and asked him to eat out. Phoon raised his voice and told Fah that he was not hungry.
That night, Fah celebrated Johan’s birthday with Johan, Hill, and Arthit. The group noticed Fah’s gloomy mood. When Fah stepped outside, Johan signaled Hill to follow him. Hill asked what was wrong, and Fah asked if there was something bad about him. He told Hill about Phoon and how Phoon was distancing himself.
Hill asked if Fah truly saw Phoon only as a brother. Fah agreed. Hill reassured him that there was nothing wrong with him.

One Last Chance Before Goodbye
Elsewhere in Beside the Sky episode 2, Phoon called his father and asked for one last chance with Fah. His father asked him to choose—him or Fah. Phoon said that this would be the last time he would associate with Fah.
The next morning, Phoon invited Fah to eat. Fah noticed that Phoon looked sick and gloomy and asked him to stay over so he could take care of him. Phoon agreed and asked Fah to stay beside him until he fell asleep.
In the middle of the night, Phoon woke up and saw Fah sleeping beside him. He told himself that this would be the last time he would have a moment like this. The next morning, Fah woke up to find Phoon gone.
Fah went to Phoon’s dorm and knocked repeatedly, calling his name. Phoon never opened the door. Phoon cried as Fah stepped away.
Get out. What nonsense are you rambling about? It’s annoying. Do you realize how damn annoying you are? Get away from my door. Go wherever you want.
Fah apologized before walking away. Beside the Sky episode 2 ends with Phoon crying uncontrollably, telling himself that he never wanted things to turn out this way.
Episode 3 Preview and Release Date
Episode 3 teases Phoon receiving things from his mother throughout his childhood. The group returns—Easter, North, Hill, and the others. Phoon’s friends try to help him with Fah. While Fah pretends not to care, he remains possessive of Phoon.
