Melody of Secrets episode 1 premiered with Botpleng receiving a notebook full of memories and meeting Tan—someone from his past.
In Melody of Secrets episode 1, which aired on December 05, 2025 via GMMTV YouTube Channel and VIU, Botpleng’s story begins. The first episode centers on Botpleng trying to recover his lost memories through a notebook. He meets Tan, someone from the past that he can’t remember, all while becoming a suspect in a crime he stumbled upon.

Memories Inside the Melody of Secrets Episode 1
Melody of Secrets episode 1 opens with a teary-eyed Botpleng in a wheelchair. Tan walks toward him and asks if he’s sure he really wants his memories back. Pleng responds that he wants the truth, and some of his memories flash—then he wakes up. Pleng says that he can remember now and looks at Tan, but the man fades into thin air.
Elsewhere, Pleng asks if someone has ever had a recurring dream—a dream about someone who happens to be your first love. Pleng says that he met him in winter—Tankhun. He then wakes up with his grandma asking if he had another nightmare.
Botpleng goes to therapy due to the repeated dreams he keeps having. It appears that he lost his memories 10 years ago. The therapists say that stress may have triggered his brain, causing the memory loss.
Botpleng Receives a Notebook of His Memories
At Pleng’s workplace, where he works as a journalist, his friend Muenmile gives him a package. When Pleng opens it, he finds a brown notebook. He reads a page that says his mom wants him to learn the violin like his dad.
A memory then flashes of a young Pleng hearing someone play the violin. In that memory, the man’s face remains unseen, but he tries to teach Pleng how to play the instrument.
Inside the notebook, Pleng finds an email owned by someone named Tan. Pleng emails him and asks if they can meet. Muenmile warns him about the notebook and tells him to be wary of whatever is written on it, reminding him that it has been 10 years since he lost his memory.
Elsewhere, Pleng goes to the place where he is supposed to meet Tan. Instead of seeing Tan, he finds a piece of luggage with a dead body inside. Shocked by what he sees, he stumbles and falls into Tan’s arms.

Pleng Became a Suspect in the Case
Because Pleng discovers the corpse, the police consider him one of the suspects. Dao, one of the officers, says that the interrogation will be easy. Tan approaches him quietly, almost like a soft tap.
Inside the interrogation room, Dao asks Pleng if he knows the victim, which Pleng denies. Dao mentions the package that Pleng received two weeks ago. It turns out that the dead man was the one who delivered it. Pleng says that it was just a diary and asks if the officer is suspecting him.
Dao explains the scenario: the deceased sends Pleng a package, and a week later, Pleng finds his dead body. Pleng insists that he was there to meet someone—his lover, Tankhun.
When Dao shows Tab the video of Pleng’s interrogation, he says that Pleng’s behavior looks normal and doesn’t seem like he’s lying. Dao questions Tan, suggesting that he might be protecting Pleng because of their past.
Tan Brings Pleng to His Home in Melody of Secrets Episode 1
Pleng asks Tan who he really is, but Tan only says that he knows him. Pleng suddenly gets dizzy, and the next thing he knows, he is already at Tan’s house.
The two talk about the memories Pleng lost 10 years ago. Tan says that he wants Pleng’s memories to return because he wants the Botpleng that belongs to Tankhun. Elsewhere, Tan gives Pleng a violin and says that he still remembers the first time they touched.
The two end up playing the violin together, triggering another memory for Pleng. It shows the moment he first met Tan while hearing him play the violin—when Tan taught him how to play the instrument. In that moment, young Tan and Pleng kiss amidst the harmony of the violin.
Another memory flashes. It shows the first night of Tan and Pleng. In that memory, the present Pleng—the one who lost his memory—walks toward Tan and kisses him. Pleng feels the familiarity in Tan’s touch.
Their intimate moment gets interrupted when Pleng receives a call from Muenmile. He says that the police found another body, similar to the case Pleng was involved in. Pleng is supposed to be at the scene, but Tan stops him, saying that he won’t gain anything from going there.
Convinced by Tan’s words, Pleng stays and calls Muenmile to tell him that he’s no longer going. Melody of Secrets episode 1 closes with Muenmile standing in front of a huge gate—probably Tan’s house.
Melody of Secrets Episode 2 Preview and Where to Watch
Episode 2 teases Pleng noticing that Tankhun has a scar on his left wrist. Meanwhile, Tan talks to Dao and tells her that he wants to help Pleng, believing that Pleng isn’t the culprit. Muenmile doubts Tankhun’s appearance in Pleng’s life and looks for proof that Tan isn’t the real one. The next episode also teases Tan saying that he will protect Pleng.
