Unseen Threats and Hidden Truths in Dear X Episode 11
Dear X episode 11 opens with the fallout from the brutal fight between Ah-jin and Sung-hee, which ends with Sung-hee’s face getting slashed. Moon Do-hyuk shows up just in time and carries Ah-jin away. She wakes up in the hospital, where Jun-seo greets her and gently kisses her forehead.
Later, Do-hyuk calls to inform Ah-jin that Sung-hee has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and is now admitted to a psychiatric hospital. Ah-jin begins laser treatment to heal the scar she received during the fight.

Meanwhile, Jae-oh investigates Sung-hee and discovers she’s been locked away in Haemil Psychiatric Hospital, the same facility where Do-hyuk’s ex-wife is held. However, no one has seen Do-hyuk’s ex-wife in over a year. To make matters stranger, Reporter Lim disappears after releasing a video that detailed Ah-jin and Sung-hee’s school history.
On a different note, Jun-seo seems content living with his mother. While shopping with her, he runs into producer Han Ji-gyu, who points out that the rumors surrounding Ah-jin and Sung-hee closely mirror the events in his first book. Jun-seo, shocked to learn about the attack, immediately calls Jae-oh for answers—and gets a sharp scolding for ghosting them.
Ah-jin’s Hallucinations and Forgetfulness
While resting at home, Ah-jin asks the housekeeper for tea, but suddenly she hallucinates a maid lunging at her with a knife. The vision fades quickly, leaving her unsettled. When she picks up her drink, it’s suddenly a glass of whiskey in a different room. Stepping back out, she notices the maids cleaning up a mess, and the doors to the third floor are wide open—every door smashed.
The housekeeper tells Ah-jin that she caused the mess in the kitchen and on the third floor. A flashback shows her storming through rooms until she finds one filled with photos of Do-hyuk and his ex-wife. She bursts out laughing at the discovery. When the housekeeper suggests going to the hospital, Ah-jin insists she’s not losing her mind.
Back on set, Ah-jin finds Jae-oh waiting. He explains that she called him, saying Do-hyuk was doing something strange, though she doesn’t remember it. He suspects Do-hyuk is behind the recent events and mentions that Sung-hee had boasted about meeting Do-hyuk just before attacking Ah-jin. Despite all this, Ah-jin refuses to consider divorce, unwilling to lose everything she’s built. Seeing her determination, Jae-oh promises to help her however he can.

Do-hyuk’s Schemes to Control Ah-jin
That night, Ah-jin’s hallucinations return, and in a panic, she smashes a mirror, cutting her hands. Do-hyuk finds her, tends to her wounds, and tells her she can lean on him whenever she needs.
Meanwhile, Jun-seo meets with Jae-oh, who shares his suspicions about Do-hyuk. Jun-seo, however, doubts that Ah-jin truly needs their help, which sparks an angry outburst from Jae-oh.

On set, Ah-jin is shocked to see a major script change. The new scene mirrors the night she killed her father with a bat. She struggles through it, and when she goes too far, another actor is knocked out and ends up in critical condition. Naturally, the tabloids dive back into rumors about her.
Later, Ah-jin questions the director about the added scene. He reveals that Do-hyuk’s company, Saturn, which invested in the film, demanded it. When she confronts Do-hyuk, he admits he wants her to rely entirely on him. Ah-jin refuses, but he smirks, saying his ex-wife broke easily, while he expects Ah-jin will keep him entertained for much longer.
Jae-oh’s Life on the Line in Dear X Episode 11
Do-hyuk reveals to Ah-jin that he was the one at the hospital earlier, not Jun-seo. She had been hallucinating and, in her delirium, even confessed details about her mother’s death.
Suddenly, Do-hyuk throws her into the pool, then leaves, calling Jun-seo to check on her. When Jun-seo arrives, Ah-jin grows anxious and declares she wants to destroy Do-hyuk and take his place. She rushes home, grabs her burner phone, and calls Jae-oh. He reassures her to hold on and says he already has a plan. Ah-jin asks why he goes to such lengths, and he simply tells her he likes being near her and helping her.

Later, Ah-jin wakes up hooked to an IV. She seems happy and has no memory of the pool incident or the earlier film shoot conflict. Do-hyuk notices her lack of recollection and remains contemplative. Meanwhile, Jae-oh confronts one of Do-hyuk’s men, warning him that he’ll repay the attempt on his life. The man reports back, and Do-hyuk orders him to eliminate Jae-oh.
That night, multiple cars arrive at Jae-oh’s home with Do-hyuk’s men pouring out. Jae-oh flees on his bike, leading them on a chase to the rooftop where Ah-jin once killed her father. As Dear X episode 11 closes, Jae-oh gets severely beaten and is thrown off the edge. Amidst this chaos, Ah-jin finishes filming the final scene of her movie and earns a well-deserved round of applause.

Dear X Episode 11 Review
Dear X episode 11 really puts Ah-jin to the test. Moon Do-hyuk has a grip on her unlike anyone else ever has.
It’s refreshing—and tense—to see Ah-jin shaken and unsure, especially after watching her dominate every situation for so long. Kim Yoo-jung nails it, whether showing Ah-jin’s quiet exhaustion or her explosive frustration during intense moments. You can’t help but feel for her, even with everything she’s done.
Hong Jong-hyun’s Do-hyuk is the kind of villain you love to hate. His presence adds a new level of danger and unpredictability that keeps the tension high.
The show’s production is excellent as always. Ah-jin’s hallucinations are chilling, enhanced by eerie music, and the editing deserves praise for seamlessly weaving multiple storylines together. The finale’s parallel between Ah-jin’s scene and Jae-oh’s last stand is particularly striking—leaving us wondering if he really survived.
With the series approaching its conclusion, there’s no telling what will happen next. Dear X continues to grip us, making the wait for the finale almost unbearable.
