The Wicked Game episode 9 bears different emotions that put the viewers into deep thought while watching—it’s reconciliation, greed, power, love, and sacrifice all at once.
The Wicked Game episode 9 aired on November 22, 2025 via iQIYI and One31 Channel. Episode 9, the penultimate episode of the series, centers on Than helping Pheem—again. Even though he told Pheem that he doesn’t want any connection with him anymore, Than still helped him. But Pheem wasn’t ready to risk Than’s life again, which led him into a sacrifice.

Thanet Dies in The Wicked Game Episode 9
The Wicked Game episode 9 begins with Chet and Pheem fighting for a gun. While the two are busy fistfighting, Chet pulls the trigger unintentionally. The bullet goes straight to Thanet—their father. Risa and Parn see what happened but don’t help.
Phakpoom and Danai also reach the scene. Thanet blames Chet for what happened, but Phakpoom says that it was Pheem. Danai and Thanet tell Pheem to leave and run immediately.
When Pheem leaves the scene, Danai calls the ambulance. But Parn follows him and shoots him twice, leading to his death. Then, Risa and Parn follow Pheem to kill him too. Luckily, Than is still in the area and helps Pheem.
Than brings Pheem to Mrs. Nit to help him with his wound. Elsewhere, Risa and Chet manage to send Thanet to the hospital. But it’s already too late. Pheem sees the news and breaks down over the death of his father.
Than Helps Pheem Escape
While everyone is busy with Thanet’s death, Than brings Pheem to his parents’ home. However, even though Than is helping him, he still can’t forgive him. Than still acts cold towards Pheem.
Than says that he only brings Pheem to his home to protect the witness of the case. But once it’s over, they have nothing to do with each other anymore.
Elsewhere, Chet knows that he is the reason why Thanet died. He admits that it was the cause of his father’s death. But here’s Risa twisting everything. She says that it was Pheem who killed their father. Risa also assures Chet that she’ll testify for him.

Than Remains Cold Towards Pheem
Even though Pheem is staying with Than, his presence only brings coldness. When Than’s parents ask whether they’ve known each other for a long time, Than lies. He tells his parents that they just met not long ago.
Pheem tries to apologize to Than once again. He admits his wrongdoings and indecisive decisions that harmed Than. Again and again, he apologizes for lying and deceiving him.
However, Than stays firm in telling Pheem that maybe what happened was the best. It’s a way of finding out how Pheem treats someone like him. He says that it’s already too late for them.
Elsewhere, Pheem sees how happy Than and his family are. This makes him think of his own family—who never really had a happy moment. Than’s father sees him and invites him to join, but he refuses.
Then Than walks out of the room, but his father follows him. Than asks his father what he would do if someone he truly loves lied and deceived him. His father says that he will split up with this person. But Than reasons that what if the person admits they’re wrong? So his father says that maybe the decision depends on the person already.
Pheem Leaves Than’s House in The Wicked Game Episode 9
Pheem hears the conversation between Than and his parents about why he is in the house. He knows that he caused too much pain to Than already. So he can’t bear to cause him more.
Pheem decides to leave the house and solve his problems on his own. Than finds a note from Pheem saying that he saw how happy their family is. Pheem can’t bear to ruin it.
Boss, Than’s friend, calls him and tells him that a lot of people are looking for Pheem. So Than drives his motorcycle and tries to look for him.

If Love Is Greater, Heartbreak Fades
Than looks for Pheem everywhere. When he enters a hotel, he sees Pheem walking down and immediately pulls him. The two go inside Pheem’s room.
Than gets mad at Pheem for leaving. He says that Risa’s people are already looking for him. But Pheem says that now that his family knows about him, he can’t stay there shamelessly.
Pheem leaves to avoid more trouble for Than and his family. He says that he knows it’s his fault, so he’s trying to solve it. One solution he thinks of is cutting ties with Than. But Than tells him to stop acting sorry because he won’t be deceived anymore.
But as soon as Pheem walks away in the room, Than pulls him in and corners him for a kiss—like someone longing and begging. With tears shedding, the two share a night together. Two souls, both lost, find their way home—again.
After that night, Than brings Pheem to his home again. He also introduces Pheem as his boyfriend to his parents. But instead of being surprised, his parents show their support and accept Pheem as their son.
Happy Ending, or Not?
Risa announces in the news that Pheem killed their father. She even has the CCTV edited to prove that Pheem is guilty. But amidst all that, Pheem and Than still manage to ask each other for marriage.
The two register their marriage with Than’s parents and Mrs. Nit as their witnesses. They enjoy their time together. But it’s only for a brief time. Because apparently, Pheem asks Mrs. Nit to drug Than and his parents so he can leave without them noticing.
It’s Pheem’s way of saving Than and his family from the danger he can bring. Quietly, he leaves the house—with a heart that aches. Knowing he promised Than not to run away again, he knows the risks.
The Wicked Game episode 9 closes with Pheem calling Chet, telling him that they need to talk.
The Wicked Game Final Episode Preview and Release Date
The final episode teases Than dreaming of him and Pheem having a sweet time. But he wakes up after Pheem tells him that they can’t be together forever. Pheem is nowhere to be found. Than goes to Mrs. Nit to ask where Pheem is. Then there’s Chet pointing a gun at Pheem and Than riding his motorcycle.
