That Summer Episode 10 Recap: Princess Anya came to fetch Davin and take him back to Arantha
Princess Anya traveled to Bangsawan Island to fetch Prince Davin. From a distance, Lava watched them reunite and felt a pang of sadness, knowing their time together would shrink even further. That night, Peng, Lava, Davin, and Anya shared a meal, and Anya noticed how devoted Lava remained in caring for her brother.
Later, before bed, Davin confided in his sister, “Just when everything started coming back, I’m out of time.” She urged him, “Make the most of the time you have left. Every second matters. One day, it’ll all become a precious memory.”
Meanwhile, Lava swam to ease his worries. Soon, Davin joined him and asked if he felt upset about returning to Arantha the next day. Lava shook his head. This was how it was meant to be—to return the prince to his life and kingdom.
Then Davin asked, “If this is our last night together, can we make it a night we’ll remember forever?” Lava felt the weight of the moment. They embraced, holding each other as tightly as they could, savoring every last second.
Davin left the island without seeing Lava
The next morning at the pier, Davin and Anya said goodbye to everyone—except Lava and Wut. “I may not remember much, but I can feel that during my time here, I truly received help and love from all of you,” Davin said. He also asked if Tum and Kratae were dating—and they finally were.
Wut urged Lava to see Davin off. “The prince will be sad if the most important person to him isn’t there,” she said. Lava shook his head. “I don’t want the last thing I see to be him leaving. It feels like I’ll never see him again.” Wut replied, “Let the last image he takes from this island be you sending him off with a smile, not tears.”
Lava ran to the pier—but Davin had already left. Overcome with emotion, he cried, whispering, “Those last three months meant so much to me.” Peng and the others comforted him, reminding him that everyone had to return to their own lives and leave behind that precious summer.

Lava and Davin are back in their own lives
Soon after returning to Bangkok, Lava talks with his mother. She urges him to reach out more often and ask for help when he needs it. When Lava asks if she still misses his father, she admits she does—every day—but says she’s learned to live with the memories and treasure them instead of trying to forget.
Lava starts working at an architecture firm. Meanwhile, in Arantha, Davin’s family reconnects him with Kate, a childhood friend and the daughter of an ambassador—clearly signaling that they want him to date her.
One day, Lava almost ignores a call, thinking it’s a scam. To his surprise, Prince Davin is on the line. They slip quickly into a routine—calling and FaceTiming often, openly sharing how much they miss each other. During one conversation, Davin admits he envies Wave’s freedom and wishes he could feel the same. He urges Lava to visit him in Arantha, and Lava agrees that he probably will.
Lava arrives in Arantha, only to leave heartbroken
Lava travels to Arantha, and Davin immediately takes his hand and leads him inside. They visit Davin’s parents, who warmly thank Lava for taking care of the prince on the island.
Soon, Lava and Davin shared how much they had missed each other, embracing tightly. To reclaim Davin’s reputation after months away, they decided to date in secret. During the day, Davin focused on charity work with Lava by his side, and at night, they spent time together away from prying eyes.
The next day, Lava learned that the King was pushing Davin toward Kate. That night, he confronted Davin, saying he understood the King, but when he asked, “Will you go along with it?” Davin couldn’t answer right away.
“My life was set for me—what I must do, what I must be, and even who I must love,” Davin admitted. Lava reassured him that they could carve their own path and ignore anyone’s rules, adding that Wave would have the courage to do the same.
Davin argued that Wave had nothing to lose, that his life belonged entirely to Lava. Feeling defeated, Lava said, “I came all the way here, but in the end, what we had was only a summer memory,” and told Davin he would return to Thailand. Davin urged him to wait and be brave enough to take the risk for their love. After that, they lost contact.
One Year Later: Prince Davin finally comes out to his parents
One year later, Lava returned to the island on his father’s motorcycle. He visited Tum and Kratae, who were now running the Honey Bar, and then went to Peng and Wut’s to see their baby. When he entered his room, filled with memories of Wave, Lava felt a deep ache and cried himself to sleep.
Meanwhile, Davin spoke with Anya, who reassured him that she would support his happiness no matter what—whether he chose to rule Arantha or be with Lava.
Later, Davin told his parents that he couldn’t take the throne, admitting he didn’t feel suited for the role. “I’m a prince who doesn’t want a princess by his side. I’m a prince who wants a prince of his own, instead.” His mother and father accepted his decision, praising his courage and understanding his heart.
Davin also insisted that Anya should become the next ruler of Arantha, recognizing how she had led their family through the crisis and declaring that it was time for a woman to rule the kingdom.

That Summer Ending: Happily Ever After for Lava and Davin (Wave)
Lava went swimming at the beach they often visited. As he moved through the water, he spotted a familiar figure lying on the sand—Davin, back again. This time, he hadn’t lost any memories. He had returned because he chose to stay on the island.
“Someone like me belongs with the sea, the mountains, nature… and the person I love,” he told Lava.
Davin shared how much his life had changed. His family finally let him follow his own path. He could go wherever he wanted and love whoever made him happy.
Here, I’m not Prince Davin. I’m Wave, Nava Mahasamut. The one who belongs to you, always.
Later, under the sunset, in the middle of the ocean, Lava proposed to Wave, who, of course, said yes.
“From now on, my life belongs to you,” Lava said. Wave immediately replied, “It’s ours. Our lives belong to each other.”
They sealed their proposal with a kiss, and from that moment, Lava and Wave continued to live together on the island, happily ever after.
That Summer Series: Ending Explained and Review
From the moment I watched the trailer, the summer romance pulled me in. Summer love rarely lasts—summer is short, and feelings often fade with the season. But That Summer proved that some summer love can endure, especially with that proposal beneath a sunset in the middle of the ocean. It was breathtaking and the perfect way to close their story after everything they had been through.
The dialogue hit me the most—the lines, the delivery, and the emotions landed every time. The cinematography and color palette brought the story to life, making each episode visually striking. At first, the pacing felt fast because so much happened, but that’s exactly what summer feels like: fun, fleeting, meaningful, and gone before you even notice it.

The story also resolved every character’s arc, giving them the happy ending they deserved. First, Peng and Wut finally express their love openly after years of hiding. They’re married now and building a warm, happy family. Meanwhile, Tum and Kratae may not have had much screen time, but seeing them happily dating makes the finale feel complete.
Anya’s crowning as Queen of Arantha adds the perfect cherry on top. She once said women never ruled the kingdom, yet she proved her worth long before receiving the crown—though it would have been wonderful to witness her coronation.
Finally, Lava and Davin (Wave) deliver the emotional heart of the story. They faced every obstacle and overcame all odds—even lost memories and long separations—yet their love endured and ultimately won. Their story unfolds so beautifully that, even though summer has ended, their love clearly hasn’t.
