The truth about the serum that Prof. Wiroj made was revealed in Zomvivor episode 5 through his confession, which was filmed in a video that Ning and Jean found. Non and his friends plan to lure the pack leader—Auntie Jit.
Zomvivor episode 5 aired on October 31, 2025, via Netflix, along with the series’ other episodes. Episode 5 highlights the confession of Prof. Wiroj about the serum he created. Ning and Jean found his confession video along with the information about the patients he used as lab rats, including Auntie Jit. Ning confirmed that all the details Prof. Wiroj provided were fake.
Non and his friends, on the other hand, tried to analyze the information they currently had about the zombies. Speculations are starting to form. Will this lead them somewhere, or will they be stuck in this zombie outbreak?

San Takes Charge in Zomvivor Episode 5
After what happened in the previous episode, San has taken on the role of leader in Zomvivor episode 5. Mook noticed that Jean and Ning weren’t with them. Non told her that they ran away with Aek and Pao. He said that they were safe because Aek was with them. But Earth said that Aek would never let Pao live—he definitely killed him (which was true).
Meanwhile, Ning and Jean were busy analyzing what Prof. Wiroj had done. Ning explained that she studied these jellyfish—the infected and uninfected ones. Some of them attacked other marine animals, while some turned against each other—similar to what Jean saw when he was saving Aek. Jean asked Ning if she knew about the professor making serum out of these jellyfish, but she said no.
Ning realized that when she sent the study to Prof. Wiroj, he had already used the serum on the patients—Auntie Jit and the others. But Jean thought that maybe this wasn’t related at all. So to confirm their speculations, Jean and Ning went to the professor’s office since they were already in the lab.
Manipulations, Strategies, and Connections
Prao talked to Mook about Pao and her decision to let him out. She was trying to convince her that it wasn’t her fault at all. The ones to blame were the people who triggered him. She also added that these people (San and the others) were keeping the leader role because they always wanted to do things their own way. She started brainwashing Mook and even shared something that Mook could use at the right time.
Meanwhile, Non found San having a hard time breathing—it seemed like he was having a panic attack. Non ran toward him and tried to calm him down. A flashback shows Non, San, and their friends getting drunk. San bid goodbye first, but Non followed him.
In the car, San suddenly broke down, saying that there’s nothing he could do. Non hugged him to calm him down in this scene too. When the present time returned, the two were seen by Thorn.
Furthermore, Thi and the others were watching the video that Non, along with Aek and the others, filmed. They saw that the zombies really treated Auntie Jit as if she were their leader—like a mother of some sort. Some of them concluded that these were not just typical zombies. It seemed like they had connections or emotional attachments.
When Nan (already a zombie) was bitten by Auntie Jit, the zombie that bit her seemed to cry through her screams. They concluded that maybe when a zombie bites you, you form a bond with them.

Relationship of Kanjana and Prof. Wiroj in Zomvivor Episode 5
It has always been a question to me why Wiroj was so persistent in creating a cure for Kanjana. They were introduced as friends, but in Zomvivor episode 5, they seem to be something more. As Jean and Ning were trying to find something in the professor’s office, Ning tried to open a safe—but she wasn’t successful.
Jean found a photo of Ning’s mother carrying Non as a baby. The interesting part is that the picture was among Wiroj’s things. And what’s more intriguing is that the safe’s password was Non’s birthday. So what really is the connection between Kanjana and Wiroj? It’s easy to conclude that they had a relationship, given how Wiroj acts. Therefore, it could be that Non is Wiroj and Kanjana’s child.
Ning Found Something; The Others Plan to Lure Auntie Jit
Ning opened the safe and found some documents about the patients. It was full of papers they signed—but none of them looked legal, more like a facade of formality. They also found a USB. When they opened it, they found a video of the professor confessing about the serum he created. He said that it could ruin innocent people’s lives. He also mentioned that everything started with something called Anisong—Kanjana’s project.
Non and his friends were still trying to figure out what could be the possible explanation for what they watched in the video. Phu said that the zombies seemed like they were sleepwalking, as if their actions were reflexive. The rain and temperature also had something to do with their behavior.
This led them to conclude that Auntie Jit would probably continue her routine. They started planning how to kill Auntie Jit, thinking that if the pack leader died, it would somehow affect the zombies. But if they killed Auntie Jit, it could backfire and enrage the zombies even more. Earth then suggested that maybe they could use Auntie Jit to lure the zombies instead.

Sun Sacrifices Herself for the Team in Zomvivor Episode 5
In every zombie series or movie, there will always be sacrifices—sometimes unnecessary ones. Night was trying to make something to fight off the zombies with Kawin’s help. Meanwhile, the cheerleading team started doing their cheerleading routine in front of Lily—thinking she might return as a human.
Although it was quite funny, I appreciate the dedication. However, Lily starts repeating what they’re saying, which attracts zombies. Sun sees how the zombies are grouping together, which could harm the team. Thus, she talks to Game and Toto, telling them that she’s passing the mentor position to them.
Sun goes out and baits herself so the others can escape. What a bold move—and definitely what a true leader would do in any situation.
Zomvivor Episode 5 Review
Zomvivor episode 5 keeps us on track with how the zombie outbreak began. It’s clear now that it came from the serum that Wiroj made, and Auntie Jit was the first to turn. This is the reason why she’s the pack leader.
What interests me now is the Anisong project. It’s been mentioned in previous episodes but never fully revealed. What was it about? Why did Kanjana make this project? I also wonder what Wiroj’s relationship with Kanjana really was. Was he Non’s father?
