My Youth episode 11 feels like flipping through an album with memories of attending a wedding and decorating a Christmas tree. But beyond the lights, flowers, and treats, is there something deeper beneath all this warmth and brightness?
In My Youth episode 11, Hae tells Je-yeon on a quiet, snowy street that he would not change anything about when, where, or how they met. Je-yeon replies that while they may have regrets, they can set those aside for now and face them only when the time is right.

My Youth Episode 11 Recap: Youth
At their home, Nu-ri thanks Hae and returns a photo album. Hae says they need to talk after her college exam. On her exam day, Seok-joo buys treats for her. While ordering, Tae-rin sends him a selfie, and he also buys for her.

As Hae drives Nu-ri for her exam, she promises to be honest. Before she goes, she urges Hae to take a trip.
At a church, Seok-joo confesses about his “sin” over Nu-ri’s failed grades. Tae-rin meets with him. He admits that when he was young, he wanted to become a priest and gives her the food he bought earlier.
Remembering how he comforted a tearful Tae-rin at the station, he realized his approach was wrong. When she asks who he’s praying to, Seok-joo replies, “To Mo Tae-rin.” Jokingly, she says, “I’m not as merciful as Him.”

Memories
At Geon-no’s bar, Hae and Je-yeon meet him to discuss the reprint offers for Hae’s books. They agree for the paycheck but discover the original file was lost when Geon-no replaced his old laptop. Je-yeon wonders how Hae will write a revised edition.

Chan expresses his interest in republishing, but Hae refuses. Still, Chan leaves his card behind at the flower shop. Later, Je-yeon notices a brochure about a clinical trial abroad. Hae says he’s considering it.
Tae-rin calls Seok-joo late at night, craving ramyeon. She begs him to eat in front of her but stop her if she asks for a bite. Before they part, she warns this won’t be the last time.
Hae and Je-yeon attend the PD’s wedding. When asked what his wish was, Hae says he has over 3,000 wishes. After the wedding, Je-yeon holds the bouquet Hae made and wishes the blooms would never wilt. When Je-yeon asks about his wishes, Hae says one of them is going on a school trip, so they go to Pohang.
Life
On their trip, Je-yeon forgets the lighter for sparklers. When she finds matches and calls for Hae, he doesn’t answer immediately. Panicked, she searches for him until they bump into each other and laugh in relief.
At night, Je-yeon wakes up to find Hae missing. She discovers him on the bathroom floor. He tells her to leave, but she lies down beside him instead and removes his wish bracelet. He ties it around her wrist, and they kiss.
Together, they also go to the airport and see off their former school nurse, who’s bound for Australia. Hae then returns to delivering flowers. He presents a bouquet to a young actor, emphasizing that success is not a prerequisite for celebration.
On a flight of steps, Geon-no ties Hae’s shoelaces, telling him not to talk about quitting. Hae admits he just wants to live a normal life. Geon-no weeps, and Hae comforts him.
Later, Hae and Je-yeon decorate a Christmas tree in the shop. Geon-no joins in, followed by Nu-ri and Sa-rang. Together, they light up the star.
At home, Je-yeon notices her cactus blooming and takes a photo. Meanwhile, Pil-doo receives a call and hands the phone to Chan. He breaks down and admits he’s sinned too much.
In the next scene, Hae is unconscious in the hospital. As doctors revive him, scenes of him and Je-yeon playing with sparklers flash by. The episode ends with Hae at the flower shop, turning back when Je-yeon calls him.
My Youth Episode 11 Reaction
This might just be the best episode so far as the lighthearted moments outweigh the heavy ones. The religious references feel out of place initially, but it’s winter so the Christmas fits. The confessions, prayers and sins are balanced by superstitions like the wedding bouquets, wish bracelets and rice cakes. It’s a lovely blend of the spiritual and the sentimental.
What makes this episode shine are the clever callbacks to earlier ones. Je-yeon, once always prepared (remember the fire extinguisher?), now forgets a lighter. Tae-rin, who used to avoid food, now accepts Seok-joo’s treats. Even the cactus Hae gave in episode 1 has started to bud.
Finally, the repeated scenes of taking pictures feel beautifully symbolic. It echoes how Je-yeon first rediscovered Hae’s flower shop—through his Instagram photos.
